Perfect for a get-a-way, or stay-cay. Large cottage in Woodchuck Marina off Lake Erie. Enjoy the hot tub, large patio, fire pit, grill, Childrens sandbox/playhouse, boat dock available, and kayaks. This isn’t directly on Lake Erie it’s in a marina which leads out on Woodchuck Creek, park with beach on Lake Erie is provided with short walk. This is a working marina, and certain considerations should be made (I.e. do you like boats?). Coffee/goods shop and cottage are ajoined.

OUTDOOR AMENITIES:
Fenced in, Fire pit, huge deck, hot tub, kids play area/sand box, dining table, casual sitting area (covered), lounge chairs, gas grill/heaters (propane tank refills not included).

INDOOR AMENITIES:
Fully equipped kitchen, keurig/drip coffee maker, toaster, air fryer, cooking basics.
Living room has huge wrap-around sofa with smart tv, games. Dining area has 6 person table with additional 3 at peninsula.

Very nice space with a great living room and quiet area. Bedding was low quality with top sheets missing on all but one bed, mostly clean but there was mold on the shower curtain and in the washing machine, and the kitchen supplies were low quality and lacking a bit. Host was great and very responsive.

The house was in good shape. Everything was in very close proximity with plenty of beach options around. We loved the convenience of the coffee shop!

This property did not meet expectations. We were surprised to discover that the thermostat was kept under lock and key so that we could not adjust it at all. Additionally, NONE of the beds had top sheets! They were literally a fitted sheet and bedspread! What are the chances that the bedspreads are washed between visitors? We also ran out of toilet paper and kitchen trash bags. The toilet paper shortage was an unfortunate discovery at 3am. We were further surprised that the property does contain stairs that are required to access two bedrooms. One of our party is handicapped, so we were specifically looking for a single story property and found this frustrating (and dangerous for her). Home decor was cute, but these problems overshadowed it.

Our stay at the cottage was awesome easy access in and out of Lake Erie very clean a lot of room and it was awesome. I would highly recommend it. Emily is very polite and had good conversations with her.

Beautiful place with lots to do! We came here for the week because my husband is working close by. We had the best time! Lots of things to do with kids without having a car. Cute little beach to walk to, fishing, kayaking, playset for the kids. Great place for our 9,8 and 6 year old. Place was clean and very welcoming. Emily was so kind and easy to communicate with. Little coffee shop/gift shop and staff was also AMAZING! Would definitely recommend this place! 10/10

My family and I loved this place! Plenty of space for our group of 5 and my dog! It was a very wonderfully decorated and comfortable house with lots of areas inside and out to hang, play games, read, watch football and be together! Loved having the coffee/gift shop next door. It didn’t disrupt us at all. Easy to access Detroit for a tigers game or the state park for some lake time! Would stay here again if in the area!

Our family loved Emily's house....the little store, the house itself, the backyard overlooking the marina. The place is spacious and beautifully decorated. We grilled out for the 4th of July and had a wonderful time. The marina is currently somewhat stagnant, but we took the kayaks out to the lake anyway and had a great time. Thanks so much.

The house was awesome! Very roomy and tons of space and beds. Really big open dining/family/kitchen area with an incredible and large couch, great for hanging out with folks. We wanted to find a place that would accommodate our boat and dog and woodchuck marina was above and beyond our expectations. Emily was wonderful!! So accommodating and has done a beautiful job renovating. Yard is fenced in which allowed our dog to be off leash outside. So nice. Beautiful home and yard with a relaxing hot tub after a day on Lake Erie. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Thanks for having us Emily (and Chief). You guys are awesome.

The property was lovely. I did not realize how industrial the area was (haven't been to that part of the state in a while), so not a Pure Michigan type of feel, but the property itself was wonderful. I did not realize there was a store literally connected which was under construction and that should most definitely have been in the listing or communicated. I left the day the painters were there because it was too distracting, but it was only one day. Only other minor nits - the sponge in the kitchen was old and smelled the entire kitchen up upon arrival, but once discarded, it was fine. Everything was clean, just that was missed. Also, we enjoyed the hot tub, but there was a layer of dirt on the seats and bottom so it was not vacuumed out in a while. Great stay overall.

This location is absolutely perfect for a family gather or a large group to stay. There was more then enough room for everyone in my party to have their own space. The common area is a great layout for everyone to talk, play board games, or just have a meal together. Emily, the host, is very responsive and made sure we were all set to go.

My family and I were in town to celebrate my grandmother's birthday. This house was the perfect place to stay. There was plenty of space and in a great location. If we had more time, we would have taken the kayaks out on the water. But we were able to try out some of the local restaurants like the Sandbar. Emily was always extremely responsive and helpful whenever we needed something or had a question. I just wish we had known that the store is attached to the house and is under construction. Also, there were lots of mayflies. But overall, a great place to stay!

My siblings and I stayed here while visiting the area for our grandfather's memorial. It was convenient, spacious, clean and modern. We are a loud group and were out most of the day so the construction on the exterior didn't bother us but for a quiet goup with very young children it may be noisy. 5 year olds had a blast in the yard and others could easily take a quick spin in the kayaks for some fishing. We had a great stay!

This place was AMAZING! Me and 7 of my closest friends got together for a girl's weekend get together. We had friends flying in from DTW, so it was very accommodating for them to fly in. The rooms were great, the back patio was perfection for sunny weather! The kitchen is fully stocked, and our host Emily, was amazing. She even made us a welcome basket full of some goodies to enjoy! Emily was also so easy to contact through text or phone calls. While we were there, we were able to use the 7 kayaks available, went golfing, went to Luna Pier and went shopping. We also went to the Sand Bar where they had a live band, and we went dancing! We attempted to have a cocktail at the Monroe Boat Club (5 min drive up the road) but, you had to be a member (FYI! We found out the hard way lol). We will be back if we have another excursion on the East Coast of Michigan. Thank you Emily for a great stay!
