About this apartment rental
The apartment is situated in La Cala de Mijas and is a few minutes from supermarkets , bars and restaurants.
The beach is a short 10 minute walk and the village is also about a 10 minute walk.
The apartment overlooks the shared swimming pool and community gardens.The living room is comfortably furnished for your relaxation and the kitchen is equipped for your self catering vacation. A real home from home. The lounge has air conditioning .
There are two bedrooms , a master bedroom with a king bed with an ensuite bathroom and the second bedroom has twin beds. There is also a separate bathroom with a walk in shower.
The kitchen is well equipped and there is a fridge freezer , washing machine, dishwasher, oven and microwave.
The urbanization has a lovely, large pool with a large grassed area for you to soak up the sun if you do not wish to go to the beach. In the cooler months it is a lovely place to relax with a book as you catch the suns rays.
Close to the apartment there is a commercial strip with a popular cafe Snack Attack for your breakfast and lunches. For the evening you are spoiled for choice, with La Bodeguita a new wine bar opened in 2021, you have the popular Bar Tuta who regularly have quizzes and entertainment in the evenings. For dining you have Pura Asia for Asian Fusion food and Priya for Indian Cusine. Beach side just a short walk from the apartment you will find Meson Los Naranjos for Spanish Cuisine and lunch time tapas. In the summer months you can enjoy the cooling sea breeze in one of the many beach bars where you can dine or hire sunbeds.
The village of La Cala de Mijas has a fabulous long beach with a boardwalk stretching nearly to Cabopino port. In the village of La Cala de Mijas there are lots of cafes, bars, restaurants, and everyone has there favorites. From everyday dining to high end dining there is so much to choose from you will be spoiled for choice.
The market is held on the fair ground on a Wednesday and Saturday morning. If you wish to explore further afield there are half hourly bus services running to Fuengirola and Marbella. If you are looking for guided excursions visit La Cala Blue close to the apartment were they can book your tickets.
Once you have visited La Cala de Mijas you will want to return time and time again.

Just back from La Cala and had an amazing holiday. Been going now for a few years as family have apartments in this area so good to catch up with them.
Jardin Botanico is a fantastic complex, very friendly, beautiful grounds and lovely relaxing pool.
The only thing letting this down is no air conditioning in bedrooms. On numerous occasions we slept in living room as only ceiling fans in bedrooms and it was too hot and uncomfortable to sleep.
Would even pay extra if air conditioning was available.
