About this house rental
Screamin' Peace enjoys beautifully scenic views of Graveline Bay, with much of the backyard decked over for an enjoyable and convenient waterfront experience. The home is in a wooded part of the island on a secluded bayfront street that really provides that quiet dauphin island experience that is so sought after.
The home, built in 1995, has a mix of warm wood accents throughout, including a beautiful butcher block kitchen counter. It has a classic beach house style with tasteful furniture pieces throughout.
The master enjoys a direct view of Graveline Bay with a direct walk-out door to the covered porch. The wrap-around porch will provide spectacular reviews and room to spread out. There is a massive waterside deck as well. Swim, catch fish, set your crab traps, and bring your boat. This home is going to be unforgettable. It is close to everything on the island.
As with all of our Dauphin Island Beach Rentals, all linens and towels are provided, WIFI, along with a fully-outfitted kitchen. There will be a starter pack of toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags; please plan on bringing more for day 2 ;). A great beach vacation is waiting on you!
Please note the following:
1. Minimum Age for the Primary Renter is 25, and Primary Renter must be present for the entire stay.
2. Maximum Occupancy numbers include Children 3 and over and cannot be exceeded at any time.
3. All of our Homes are Non-Smoking.
4. A signed Rental Agreement is Required, which contains additional Rules and Guidance.
5. This property does not allow weddings or parties.
6. Check-in time is 3 pm, and check-out time is 10 am.
7. Start dishes and linens before departure.
8. Take the trash can to the street on Tuesday night and Friday night.
9. This home is NOT pet friendly.
10. Insurance policies do not allow the use of cargo lifts by guests.

We overall loved our stay. The place was quite filthy but when we mentioned it the company waived the cleaning fee and offered to send their cleaners back (we declined as we didn't want them in the house while we were here). The view of the bay was amazing. TONS of birds. The kids loved the crab trap. Plenty of space to hang out for our family of 6! We enjoyed the island, plenty of good food nearby & sites for the kids to see! Unfortunately there are no screens on the windows so it's really impossible to get fresh air in without bugs. The dirty windows really impede the view of the bay. There are other things that showed how run down the house is... gate falling apart, loose boards on the deck, wobbly toilets, loose shower controls, the main shower valve was messed up so hot water was coming out of the tub filler when the shower was on & the shower was hot & cold. The showers were hard to turn off & dripped a lot. The main toilet was extremely hard to flush. Great stock of pots & pans, possibly one of the best rental kitchens I've stayed in! Some of the electrical was a little wonky, lights not working on the deck, flickering, etc. The dirty floors were really the biggest issue to me but i appreciated them refunding the cleaning fee. I really hope the owner will do a deep clean. I'm guessing it'll continue to be an issue because i see other reviews with similar complaints. Overall it was a great trip. The bay side of the island was perfect for little kids to swim.
