About this cottage rental
A family friendly cottage for a relaxing and peaceful holiday. Rowan Cottage has an open plan living area with the kitchen, dining and sitting room which all flow into one another. The living area has two large windows which look out onto the fields which are home to our Highland cows and sheep. The master bedroom with shower en-suite is located on the ground floor with views up to the Ochil Hills. The upstairs floor comprises of a main bathroom with bathtub and a twin bedroom. There is also a lovely wee nook at the top of the stairs where you can sit and read a book or just take in the view of the hills behind. You might even see a Roe deer.

My wife and I had a great two week stay at Rowan Cottage. It is very peaceful and relaxing. Everything was very clean. It was a very nice “home away from home” I would highly recommend this place to anyone needing a self catering place to stay. Thank you Laura for the lovely accommodations.

Laura was a great hostess and the cottage in a lovely, peaceful rural setting. It was well equipped and very comfortable.Great for local history including The Wallace Monument and Stirling Castle.Don’t miss climbing in the hills near the waterfall behind the cottage!

Rowan cottage is an absolute treasure! The property is immaculately clean and welcoming. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensils and needs to make a family meal. The picnic table in front of the property was used many times when the sun came out on a beautiful day. We very much enjoyed seeing the “coos” close up and watching the sheep being rounded up and moved to another pasture by the working dog. The property is close to everything in Stirling and the surrounding areas. I would highly recommend Rowan cottage to anyone traveling to the Stirling area. It is affordable and an absolute gem for a weary traveler to find a little piece of heaven in Scotland.

Laura was so nice and the place was immaculate. Kitchen had the perfect amount of cooking items. Having the walking path right there was a nice touch to our evenings.
