About this house rental
New construction build completed in Spring 24’ this (4) Bed, (3) full baths and (2) half baths sits on a .5 acre, partially wooded lot located on a private road in Lakeside ideal for family visits to enjoy a peaceful getaway. The home is located two blocks from the private beach on Lake Michigan (note there are roughly 85 steps down to private beach). Public beach access (no steps) 3 min drive. House sleeps 13 - three king beds, three twin and 1 full in bunk room. There is a pull out queen sofa bed in the upstairs den with TV. All bedrooms (except bunk room) have 55” TV’s. Large screened porch with 70” TV, weather-master window system and ceiling mounted heater for colder nights. Other amenities include upstairs laundry room, gas fire pit, synthetic turf bocce/putting/recreation court, 240V EV charger (tesla), (12) Beach chairs, Lily Pad, wagon, cooler, and beach toys. Two minute drive to Union Pier restaurants, bakery and grocery store; 10 minute drive to downtown New Buffalo. Our stay was everything we could have hoped for. The hosts were great with communication, even answering many questions before we booked. The house was spotless when we arrived, the kitchen was stocked with anything you could need, and the family room and 3-season rooms were great for relaxing. Even in the cold months, the outdoor firepit was a wonderful place to spend time while the kids played on the turf. We stayed over a cold Thanksgiving week, but can not wait to come back in the summer months to spend time on the beach.

This house was absolutely perfect for our girls’ weekend. Beautiful, well-equipped, comfortable, plenty of space and a stellar location. We will be back for sure!!

This is my second time renting this property. Great setup with close proximity to beach, coffee shop and restaurants. It’s a relaxing getaway just a short drive from Chicago. Will definitely be back and communication with owners was beyond expectation!
