Vacation apartment Watzmann, 2-4 persons, 50 sqm, top floor

The bathroom is the show stopper of this home...i loved the open floor plan made it easier to navigate with my sons wheelchair...my complaint is the size of the bedroom on the first floor i think personally if a home is described as handicap accessible it should be able to fit the persons wheelchair comfortable in the room....the furniture and appliances are very outdated..there wasnt a telivision in the main floor bedroom which is where i needed it for my son in the wheelchair .the view is beautiful..but theres a firepit in the yard that i was told we were not permitted to use...which was odd..but overall i had a peaceful stay ..with a little tlc amazing grace could reach her full potential

The house was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The huge deck and private yard was nice for kids to play and run around. The No A/C wasn’t a problem the windows open and fans running really cooled it off at night. There were fans in every room. The large open living room and dining room was great for game nights. Location is close to everything!! I would definitely return.

Overall it was a great place to stay. The only issue was the door lock batteries died and we got locked out an hour before the I was suppose to be at the wedding. It took about a half hour for them to come fix the lock. Everything else was great.

It was what we needed, and in a perfect location for our visit. Unfortunately, we had some non-detrimental issues. No internet/network connection. Tired all the 'tricks' and called Vacasa. They couldn't help, told us they would contact their 'partner' who would contact us. It was late, but we never received contact the first night. Tried in the morning but again, we never received contact from their 'partner' and so, we lived without internet for the weekend. Not a huge deal, but the kids did have homework we had hoped they'd be able to work on during some down time. Really wished they had screens for the porch doors! There was such a perfect breeze but couldn't get the circulation we needed. Downstairs bedroom (twin beds) smelled like old urine, similar to a nursing home facility. Opening the windows didn't really help. The upstairs bathroom was huge and lovely, however, I think they missed out on many opportunities to make it better. The jacuzzi tub is about the size of a normal bathroom tub. Shower is small, even for my 5 foot self. There wasn't many places to hang towels; a bar on the shower door and 2 small hooks near the laundry. The small hooks are no where near the shower or tub. Lots of wasted shelf space and a the large-ish closet seemed pointless. There is no ice machine or ice trays! I don't need a fancy counter top ice maker, but ice trays would have been nice. For a short stay, we might stay again, but not for a week long vacation.
