NEAR THE BEACH 20 KM FROM BARCELONA

I came from Canada where I spent more than 6 months between the cold and the snow, I discovered this gem of a city called Vilassar del Mar (20 km from Barcelona), its people are very very friendly, it is safe, quiet, you can visit a different beach every day by train (it is 1.1 km away from home), you can walk to the train and you can find several groceries stores , restaurants etc.The house is perfect for a family (even 2), since it has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a terrace for barbecues, the owner was in communication with me all the time, very kind! It was definitely a very good decision to come here, maybe some people like downtown more, but my trip with children focused on beaches and more beaches and visiting downtown by train several times after a day at the beach. I recommend it and I am sure I will return, even more so when the beers on the beach cost me 2.5 € (3.8 CAD)

Great place for a short stay for 3 adults, we all had separate beds and rooms with all the comforts of home. Clean 2 story beach home with roof top terrace, very well equipped. In a safe quiet area close to all amenities. Hosts were very gracious and helpful with providing directions and suggestions of the area, made our stay very pleasant!

Very clean and comfortable place to stay near beach and train. About 0.7 mile to train to Barcelona and beach area. Great shops, groceries and restaurants in neighborhood. Easy check in with lock box worked out great for us as we were not sure of arrival time. Public parking lot was about 2 blocks away or street parking if available. Was perfect place for my husband and I to stay and wish we had more time to see this beautiful area!
