The Retreat - Suite #2

Nicely updated and reasonably appointed property that was close to the town of Stowe and Stowe Resort.

The unit had an issue, an issue that the owners and property management were already aware of, with the heating system that caused the upstairs bedroom (the only bedroom) to be super warm, from the upper 70s to the lower 80s. We had to spend too much time trying to figure out how to cool the two upper floors off. We also didn't like that there was limited utensils, another issue that was previously brough up to the property management's attention, and there was an obvious beverage spill, most likely coffee, that was on one of the comforters and all on the couch. The cleaning crew should have seen this and addressed it before our arrival. The management company did a decent job addressing our concerns, but took way too long to respond back to my inquires. One other item was the hot tub. A very nice addition, especially after a day of skiing, but the water had an odor to it, indicating that it wasn't being properly treated. Since we didn't have anyone staying in the unit to the left of us during our stay, we didn't have any of the issues that others reported concerning too much noise.

Thermostat in bedroom was locked out and Vacasa customer service was not helpful in obtaining pin number.
