Everything but in places in the kitchen there needed to be cleaning (coffee stains, under detergent box. But generally, the flat was very clean and in good condition, with excellent facilities.

Perfect location and the apartment was so well equipped

The stairs were tricky as on the top floor. So carrying suitcases up was tough. The sofa bed wasn’t the comfiest as the pull out section kept rolling away from the sofa

Good size apartment. Clean and tidy Location - Close to the High street, restaurants and Lake amusements. Parking is a bonus.

The main entrance hallway and staircase carpet is in need of replacement. The bathroom extraction fan requires re-fitting or replacement as when running it is far too loud.

Very average and not comfortable

Location as great to get around. Dirty hallway lots of stairs so be prepared. Sofas were like rocks to sit on and for the children’s beds. Our bed the bottom sheet wasn’t big enough and would ping off all night. The shower could use a deep clean and generally expensive for what it was.

Tired fittings. Only 4 of knifes, forks, spoons etc. Sofabeds were rock hard and our bed we had to go and buy a deep base fitted sheet for the second night as we go no sleep. Generally a bit grubby especially the shower. Expected a lot more for the money.

Great location. Great owners who were very quick to help sort an issue we had when we arrived. Well thought out extras in the flat. Only cons were no freezer and the oven/baking trays were really dirty so we didn’t use. There are a lot of stairs up as well so would be an issue for people with mobility issues. Overall a great stay and good value for money. Thanks for having us

Absolutely wonderful!

Amazing space to stay in with everything you need and more. Wifi was brilliant and all home comforts catered for! Just across the road from the pier end and same row as the baths!! Hosts were just a call away if needed, we didn’t need to as its just amazing!! Highly recommend staying here. Thanks for having us!!

The stairs!!😂 when i booked it i didn’t think about the stairs as the location was so perfect! Have disabilities so wasnt ideal and a struggle! Next time i will book the lower one!!

wouldn't book this property had a full, true description of access to the flat had been given

entrance and staircases shabby and rundown. this property should state clearly that there are four flights of stairs and hauling suitcases, food boxes etc is totally unsuited to anyone who is not an athlete in their prime

Building needs a refurbishment carpet leading to the apartment is horrific. The toilet seat was broken and was in the most awkward corner. Need to clean the place properly. My partner refused to stay so left as quick as we came.

Lovely spot for a tourist trip to Southport :)

Gorgeous apartment with excellent facilities. Loved the little touches like a pint of milk left in the fridge, and a few condiments. Prime location close to all the fun of Southport. Would definitely recommend :)

really nice apartment in a great location for the shops, places to eat and right on the front with lovely views of the lake. i had a problem with one of the widows not shutting so i contacted the owners and steve was there within half and hour to fix it., i also left something at the property and helen very kindly posted it out to me.

Lovely family holiday

The apartment is really beautiful. The view out the window was amazing. You can see blackpool in the distance. The apartment is located near the beach which was handy, aso close to the arcades and the town center. would definitely stay here again in the future. You should visit the old arcade shopping area. Its like the tardis. It felt never ending and its full of amazing unique antiques.

great location with partial lake view, walking distance to beach and restaurants. the unit is fully equipped such as washing machine, iron… the host also offers coffee, tea and a bottle of wine!!

the hot water for shower runs out a little bit too quick… need to wait sometime to get hot water.

Great apartment in a great location.

Brilliant location and great to have a car parking space. The apartment itself was spot on, with everything we needed for our stay. The communication from the hosts prior was brilliant and really sets them apart from other hosts. Highly recommend!

While the apartment itself was lovely and clean and generally well maintained the communal entrance and stairways were pretty disgusting which didn’t give a good first impression on arrival. It just really wasn’t pleasant getting to and from the apartment which is such a shame when the apartment itself is so lovely. Definitely not a reason not to stay but helpful to be aware of!

Great apartment in great location!

Everything was perfect. The flat was very comfortable, clean and had everything to make you feel like at home , including fresh flowers on the table and bottle of wine in the fridge, tea , coffee, cookies etc. Very good contact with the host. Great views over the Marine Lake, sea and Blackpool tower 🙂. Great location, within a few minutes walk to all the major attractions of Southport, train station and shops.

A bit dirty stairway, which at first encounter makes you worry what the flat will be like ( but in all fairness it's probably not under control of the owners of this flat).
