Villa kate

The location is probably one of the best in Taormina. The host and her husband were clearly experienced hosts and could not have been more helpful. The photos do not do this place justice. The view is spectacular, with a magnificent view of the bay over giardini Naxos. The central street of Taormina is a 10 minute walk away, and needs a bit of a climb up the hill, but only to the public car park lifts - which literally take you to the end of the main road of Taormina. For an after dinner walk, it’s buzzy, it’s romantic, and it’s everything you expect of a beautiful Italian passeggiata on a warm summer evening. The facilities at Villa Kate were absolutely brilliant and we weee able to self-cater one night and eat out one night. A stunning property that I would highly highly recommend!!!

La gentillesse de la propriétaire Caterina qui répond à toutes vos questions à l’avance et qui vous explique comment vous rendre au village dès le début. La vue exceptionnelle du salon et des terrasses de même que le fait que la villa est tout près de la vielle commune mais très tranquille en même temps.

Rien pour ma part mais pour apprécier ce petit bijou de villa, il faut être en forme puisqu’il y a de bonnes côtes à monter et descendre pour ce rendre au village et y revenir.

Beds very hard and uncomfortable. Not really walkable to city. Air conditioner remote not working in one room. Neighbors burning trash frequently, could not sit outside.
