Good value, good location but don’t expect much.
Host was excellent and very helpful. Allowed us to check out late which was very beneficial .
The property is in a fantastic location - can ski out from the door. BUT it’s incredible old and feels like being in some low rent school or college - fairly typical of this style of french 80s building. For 2 or 3 nights it’s ok for 2 people…would not want more people in there. And it was very good value…and reality is ski resorts you pay for what you get. This is more like a hostel.

Nice apartment shame about the Tower Block!
We have stayed at Les Arcs on many occasions, often in a friend's apartment at 1800. Never before though at 2000. Though advertised by Booking.com as 2 bedroom, the hosts were quick to respond that it is a large studio without physically separated rooms - they are still trying to get the details amended. So, we were NOT misled, indeed, the hosts and the resident 'agent' Tim were responsive & helpful. My wife & adult son made up our party of 3 and we found that the accommodation met our needs leaving nothing wanting. One or two 'comfy chairs' and a 'how to do file' might have helped but that is not a criticism
In short, Les Arcs 2000! Much more than 1800 or Villards 1800 (both similar ages), the one-time striking 'pointy' blocks of L A 2000 are dated & austere. The various blocks of 2000 seem random and confusing, lacking the focal neighbourhood shopping centres & squares of the two other places mentioned, and indeed, much newer Arcs 1950. It is crying out for a makeover and the long sloping corridors are bleak. They feel like 1970s tower blocks. For all the advantages of ski-in, ski out (if you can work out where you need to be - not straightforward) 2000 lacks an inviting appearance or aura. I was disappointed as Les Arcs as a whole has, in my view, the best variety of skiing in the French Alps

good for singles to stay short
location is excellent, possible to ski right down to the piste. the kitchen is equipped with everything you need, there were even spices and salt.
The hostess did not warn us that we needed to bring our own linen and towels, this was not also indicated anywhere in the room description. the room was quite cold. there is no possibility to dry ski boots, no ski room to keep skies.
