I loved the view, and the beach access.
There are many stairs to go down to get the beach actress across the street. And you do have to take taxi or bus to get to the actual town, but once you get the bus schedule down, the location is perfect. However, they do have parking, so if you don't mind driving through the mountains then it is a perfect place to stay.

Beautiful views. Rooms were large with ensuite bathrooms. Loved the outdoor shower. Very clean. Had parking, which in Positano is rare and very helpful. Our host was easily reachable and quick to answer all of our questions.
Only thing that wasn't perfect but was not a real issue as the weather was gorgeous, is there was really no place to gather other than outside with our friends. Sat in the dinette area a few times, which was pretty small. And we knew it was outside of town, which was ok, as there is a bus, just would be easier for dining and visiting Positano if closer to town.
