Tall Pines Lodge Dog Friendly Nr Sutton on Sea

The property was set in a quiet location, with a a lovely little walk to exercise the dogs. The place was cosy and unique and close to the Donkey Sanctuary.

There was a constant unpleasant odour from one of the bathrooms, I expect from the drainage system, however, we didn’t notify the host of this. I’m sure they would have done everything to resolve this. Although the property sleeps 8 which was fantastic, the dining table only seats 4 and there is not enough comfy seating for 8.

Hosts were amazing. Location was great as was the lodge. Absolutely no complaints

Nothing all was good

The lodge has everything you need for a short stay. Great decor, huge TV and fridge freezer! Definitely has the wow factor when you walk in. Great layout with bedrooms either side of the living space. My dog loved the bed, quite out of character for her as she usually favours the floor!

Mattress in smaller double room was uncomfortable. No outside light on decking. Wooden planks between lounge & shower room could do with gaps filling as you could see people on the loo! We found this hilarious, but might not be for everyone! Shame there's no pub/shop within easy walking distance, but wasn't a problem for us. We had a problem with flies in the kitchen area, so maybe some sort of repellant/zapper might be a good idea.

It was lovely and quiet, and suspect that on really warm days it would be lovely to sit outside. Location for beach is good, although you do need to drive.

The front door was very difficult to lock and unlock. The large sliding doors out onto the decking had a notice on them stating not to use as previous guests had broken the runners (if this notice is left there then the next guests would equate that to me and I didn't break the runners) the notice should just read that the runners were broken please do not use. There was no signage or notes giving information about where to dispose of rubbish, how the lights worked or anything else to do with the property. There were only two wine glasses available and the property hosts up to 8 guests. Property details indicated lakeside view - there is no lake. The rooms were very dark. There were many flies in the property.
