Reception guy was very nice and contactable even though he was not physically at the reception. Room was fine and facilities were working. Walking distance to most of the attractions and city centre. Close to the metro station.
The room and shower was a little dirty and not well maintained, there were flies flying around. Building could use some renovation as it is quite old. It's in a residential neighborhood which can be dangerous at night.

If you want a really cheap totally no frills room for sleeping after exploring the city, this is the place for you.
Bare bones and way past its prime, but with really clean bed sheets and unbeatable shower.
A bit off the city center, but nothing unbearable; in an area that seems to be on the cusp of redevelopment, but close to metro Trinidade.
Cleanliness in the common areas is a sci-fi concept. No bugs for now, thank goodness - but if the current level - probably stuck at philosophically defining what are brooms, mops and buckets - is maintained, they won't be long to come.

Short walk to the heart of the city. Close to the subway.
Comfortable bed and room.
There was never anyone at the reception. His phone was on answering machine, he didn't call me back.
My bus left at dawn, I politely asked him to call me a taxi. He was impolite and harsh. Another guest rushed to my aid and the next morning the taxi was there. When I wanted to pay it, it turned out that it had already happened.
The whole building could use a little "facelift".
