Staff were very kind and helpful. Room was clean and comfy, excellent bathroom. Property was a short walk away from town centre and in a lovely quiet area.

The only thing I would say is that the kitchen doesn’t have a fridge to store food. Apart from that everything else was brilliant.

It had ac which was a benefit.

There was no soap or toilet paper. Breakfast was old food. The staff were unprofessional and rude. Had us wait until they looked over room when we checked out.

The breakfast was great, and despite my complaints I can recognise overall it was a fine place to stay.

What I didn’t like was that I had to move rooms and then realised that I didn’t even have to move - as in the room that I was told to move out from wasn’t even booked and stayed empty. They just didn’t have the room I booked available the first night and made me pack up and move because I was put in a bigger room. It also annoyed me the way it was presented. Oh you get to stay in a bigger room for the same price! I don’t care about having a bigger room, I just don’t want to have to pack up again. As I was leaving for my walking tour, the staff told me that I would have to pack my bag and leave the bag out for the room change before I went which made me late and miss my tour. I think the aircon fee was already too high at 10USD per day, but also when I asked for the aircon at night the employee asked me for 32USD for two nights, and only reduced the price when I said I was already told 10USD. I don’t know where they came up with these prices. Given the room change inconvenience, they could have given me a discount but instead tried to rip me off.

Good breakfast (supposed to be from 7:30, but it's after 8)

The rooms are very tiny, with massive stifling heat on the ground floor and a musty smell (even on the bath towel). There's very little privacy. When it came time to pay, the evening staff refused to accept the current exchange rate and imposed a "currency exchange fee" for paying in cordobas... in three weeks in Nicaragua, I've never seen anything like that. I was supposed to stay one more night, but I left for another hotel. EDIT I can confirm that the hotel used an exchange rate far above the current day's rate and explained that it was a "currency exchange fee" to pay in cordobas. Clearly, not all rooms offer a comfortable stay, let be honest.
