8 Mi to Saddleback Ski Area: Cabin w/ Fire Pit

Location, beautiful sunsets, kitchen well equipped, bed was comfortable, sauna was a nice treat. Owner, Paul, very pleasant and responsive.

Our deck chairs (to the table) were a little beat up - could use some new ones. Not a big deal unless you’re a larger person who would likely break them.

Clean, towels and linens plentiful

Beach and access to it were was a key reason for selecting but was disappointing. Very Steep incline to access was hard for kids and seniors. Beach was smaller than pictured and littered with large driftwood so chair space and walking was very limited

Loved the overly accommodating cabin and beautiful property that included everything you could think of including s’mores sticks, first aid kit, kayaks, life jackets, every kitchen gadget, board games, sauna and dock to view the sunsets and listen to the loons! Close to main town, even closer to IGA, abundant hiking trails nearby including Appalachian and Saddleback Mtn for lift ride to top base then hike to summit for spectacular panoramic views of the entire region! Host Paul was easily available for questions and truly aimed to please! A no brainer to return next year!
