Paul's Residence

Nous avons tout aimé chez Paul résidence, l’accueil chaleureux qui nous a été réservé , la maman de Paul très gentille aux petits soins. Paul lui même rien à dire il était à l’écoute, bienveillant , il nous a même amené gratuitement faire le tour de Mahé avec sa voiture , il avait du temps pour nous , il nous a achetés des noix de cocos et des chips , et nous a communiqué de bon plan . Franchement rien à dire . Merci aussi à la femme de ménage toujours souriante , agréable , la chambre était toujours propre . Je trouve que l’endroit est très bien situé , c’est calme et il y a des boutiques à côtés et vous avez la plage à quelques mètres ou sinon vous avez anse la mouche à 15 min à pieds. Oups j’oubliais , la cuisine est équipée ( mixeur , micro-ondes , etc… ) et si jamais vous avez des questions Paul est très très vite réactif . Les photos sont exactement vraies Nous Avons Adoré notre séjour au sein de Paul résidence et nous recommandons à 100% On reviendra Paul ☺️

I felt lvery comfortable and safe here, just like at home. I will definitely come back!! A wonderful host!

The place was great. Nice Amenities. Family and Staff were great. Convenient to the bus stop and a market. Would have rated it a 10 except for what i didn't like...

Required to move out a day in advance to another property and how it was handled by Paul (Hi, so you're moving out tomorrow. No, actually i have two more nights. No, actually, you ARE moving out tomorrow because we have work going on. We'll move you to another place around the corner). This was also less than 24 hours notice as it was around noon or early afternoon. If it had been mentioned maybe before my arrival or even at the beginning it wouldnt have been such an inconvenience or surprise?! No explanation of what the work was (there was nothing wrong with the apartment in my mind) and happening on a Saturday. I was shown the location. It was nearby, not as close as i had originally thought, but i had a car. So, i suddenly had to pack a day earlier than i had thought. Then, upon move in, i discovered the apartment was NOT of the same quality and did not possess the same amentities (i had bought groceries, transferred them and suddenly couldn't use some of them, such as no coffee maker. I NEED my coffee in the morning). Pests and being an older apartment were issues as well but not horrible so. The apartment was okay for one night and the new host was nice. Simply a comparitive downgrade, noticeably. Also, unfortunately, this was a Saturday and the new place was closer to the beach and/or people near there that decided it was PARTY time! The music stopped around 1am, i got to sleep sometime soon after, and i had an early rise the next morning as i was transferring islands, so i was not able to "sleep-in" to make up for the late night nor drink my coffee. A great first six nights and then a sharp downturn for the final night. -1 for the inconvenience of the move & how the host handled it, -1 downgrade in quality of new place and a miserable last night And, lastly, apparently this was not the first time the host has shifted guests (as detailed, confusingly, in another review). I'd still recommend this place.
