Happy memories of a fabulous little castle

Everything, it is a beautiful property, everything you could possibly need is provided, it’s clean and comfortable and it has a hot tub!

I would prefer blinds on a bathroom window, and it would be lovely to have a map of the walks on the estate we were not sure where we could walk

An exceptional property that far exceeded our expectations

This is an exceptional property, and we feel extremely privileged to have experienced it. The design, decor and furnishings are absolutely stunning - everything has been so well thought out. We couldn't find fault at all. It really did exceed our expectations.

Superb

Excellent property and high quality of finish

Not a complaint but 3 small suggestions noted from our stay that would improve an already excellent property... 1. Both bathrooms would benefit from a curtain or blind to increase feeling of privacy during hours of darkness. 2. The kitchen needs to have more larger glass tumblers, pint glasses etc as only has small plastic ones just now (i.e. nice to drink from an actual glass if not outside or in the hot tub). There are some glass wine glasses but these aren't suitable for all drinks. 3. The thin plastic curtain hooks downstairs aren't strong enough to hold the heavy curtains and often fell when we carefully closed/opened the curtains so needed to be careful re-hung.

Absolutely wonderful

Absolutely fantastic accommodation, hot tub a bonus and wonderful setting. Exceptional and highly recommended.

Nothing- however just one small thing it would be nice to have a tables and chairs to sit/eat outside in the garden in the summer months

Loved our drinks on the roof terrace, in the sun, watching the hares and sheep.

The roof terrace was exceptional. Loungers, hot tub and stunning views all around. It is a large, spacious property with lovely decor. The spiral staircase is gorgeous. It even has a utility room. The kitchen had every utensil you could need. Even the ground floor toilet was cool. Beds were big and very comfortable.

Magical

It was like being in our own little castle. Every detail had been perfectly thought out. Fabulous roof terrace where we spent most of our time with great views, sun loungers and hot tub. We were so lucky with the weather too!

Only a tiny niggle. Nowhere to put toiletries in the shower except the floor.

Utter perfection!!! There really is no other way to describe this property. It is set in a stunning location, and beautifully decorated throughout. The owners have provided almost literally everything you could possibly need or want, and to the highest quality, from the cutlery to the bedroom curtains, it’s loveliness everywhere! There were thoughtful touches like the bowl of fruit, milk and butter. The hot tub was amazing and watching the hares dashing about the surrounding fields was so cool.

It wasn’t something we didn’t like so much but more a preference . there was no blinds or coverings on the bathroom windows, which was not a big deal you are not overlooked or anything it just felt strange.

The unique building set in wonderful surroundings ,so peaceful and charming ,waking up to the animals outside your windows was amazing .Every thing was to the highest standard ,you had everything you required .views from the hot tub was exceptional .

Liked so much we stayed 2 more nights .we were given our own driven tour by the estate manager to see the newborn lambs in the lambin stables and took us to see the longhorn cattle calf which was amazing and such a lovely Easter treat .Very knowledgeable about the history of the priory .
