Quirky stay in a refurbished signal box.

The accommodation was very nicely fitted out, with a well appointed kitchen and bathroom. Lots of original features.

The only minor thing was the two first floor bedrooms are linked which we were not aware of.

Unusual place

Definitely a very interesting place to spend the night. The noise level of the passing train is high because it is only a few meters from the rail track. It's hard to fall asleep in the 'ancient room' downstairs because of the strange noises that come from it. The wardrobe divides the two double bedroom-like spaces upstairs, there are no doors. The flat is equipped nicely for extended visits. The mattresses were really comfy, and the shower was lovely. Somehow, the nights were chilly as the radiator stopped working during a night.

The location in Lörrach could hardly be better. The “Stellwerk” is in easy walking distance to train station and the downtown area.

It’s hard to dodge the noise of the trains going by. This is particularly true in the summer when guests might want to have their window open.

Pleasant

Location was really good . It's really close to main train station and supermarket. Parking was included although it's not in front of the house .

Because it is close to train station, it's nice but quite loud especially when sleeping 😓. Trains are all the time running. Once falling asleep, it's not a big problem but when someone is sensitive to noise, then it might be bothered alot. Rooms upstairs are not separated which was quite uncomfortable when especially child or baby is sleeping, we had to be careful with every noise making. Except for that, it's quite unique house, there is fire place which was also nice.

Die Unterkunft hatte alles was wir gebraucht haben, war sauber und toll eingerichtet. Die Lage ist super, da es fußläufig zur Innenstadt von Lörrach ist.

Wir fanden die eher ungewöhnliche Unterkunft für 2 Übernachtungen durchaus reizvoll.

Eine interessante Unterkunft Gute Betten und Bettbezüge Gute Handtücher 1.OG (Hauptetage) modern gestaltet Ausstattung Küche Teebeutel u. einige Kaffekapseln, sowie Spültaps vorhanden

Reger Zugverkehr (in der Fotm nicht erwartet, aber auch nicht ausreichend recherchiert) Einige Dinge die instand gesetzt werden müssten (Wastischmöbel aufgequollen, Badschrank defekt, Fugen im Bad, etc.) Abfluss im Bad roch sehr unangenehm Etage im EG mit Wohnzimmer und zusätzlichem Bett sehr antiquiert, wurde von uns auch nicht genutzt.

Sehr zu empfehlen! Gemütliche Unterkunft!

Die Lage direkt am Bahnhof ist außergewöhnlich gut. Von dort aus ist Basel schnell zu erreichen. Die Unterkunft ist gut ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Die Einrichtung ist mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet worden. Alle nötigen Dinge sind in der Küche, Bad und allen weiteren Räumen vorhanden. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Leider war in der Spühlmaschine die Klappe für die Spühlmaschinentabs defekt. Ich bin mir sicher dass das zeitnah behoben wird :) Sonst keine Kritik!

Tolle Lage. Mitten in der Stadt. Bahnhof...mehr muss ich nicht sagen. Keine Angst es ist Menschen ruhig. Ja, so ein Stellwerk liegt an Gleisen auf denen Züge fahren. Jedoch sind sie nicht störend. Ja, man hört sie, aber sie beruhigen eher. Und viele sind es auch nicht. Die Betten sind traumhaft gemütlich. Alles ist Raumsparend angelegt. Tolle Dusche. Das Wohn-/Zimmer im EG ist Super zu chillen. Sitzgelegenheiten draußen sind auch vorhanden und gut angelegt. Ich glaube ich habe eine Sauna hinten im Garten gesehen. ( Bin mir aber nicht sicher ob die zur Ausstattung gehört. Bitte überprüfen. ) Gerne wieder. 10 von 10 Sternen

Als Anmerkung möchte ich hinzufügen das der Vermieter vielleicht zwei Teppiche/Läufer zu Verfügung stellen sollte/könnte um die Glasscheiben die zum EG Zimmer verlegt sind abdecken zu können. Könnte den einen oder anderen stören weil das Licht von unten nach oben scheint.
