About this house rental
Glocca Morra is a luxury retreat nestled in the northern Minnesota woods on the edge of Lake Belle Taine. The estate has 4100 square feet of finished living area, situated on 4+ acres with 350’ of shoreline. This 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom estate features vaulted ceilings, an open floor plan, and maple hardwood floors throughout. Built to take advantage of the beautiful lake beyond, each bedroom and living space has a view of Belle Taine’s crystal clear waters.
Enjoy breakfast looking out over the lake through the kitchen’s numerous French doors, or step outside and enjoy a cup of coffee in the gentle lakeside breeze on the large flagstone patio. In the evenings, take in the stunning nightly sunsets while having dinner in the dining area adjacent to the kitchen, or relax in the spacious living room next to the cozy gas fireplace. Alternately, curl up with a book in any of the three sitting areas scattered throughout the levels of the home.
The main floor also contains a master bedroom that includes a master bath with jacuzzi tub, and a generous walk-in closet. The second story of the home has three formal bedrooms, all with a breathtaking view of the lake, along with a bonus room equipped with 3 twin beds plus a twin trundle. The estate’s upper floor has a large family room and attached kitchenette, with yet another inviting view of Lake Belle Taine.

What a beautiful location in a beautiful home that began as an old rustic stone house from the 1920s. Very well designed and very family friendly. Lots of space both in the home and in the yard for all kinds of activity. My grandkids really enjoyed the tree house. Great stay!

Beautiful property and location. Found it to be very peaceful and relaxing. The property was spotless and well maintained. Lots of space to spread out. The home had no issue accommodating our large group. The upper level rec room was a big hit with the kids. While the fall didn’t lend itself to many lake activities, the view was spectacular. The weather was nice during our stay and allowed us to enjoy the outdoors. There were play structures for the kids and lots of area to explore and play outside games. Some of the adults were able to hit the UTV trails nearby. We are thinking of coming back this winter for a long weekend of snowmobiling.

This is the place of my childhood enchanted summers. It was my grandparents' home on Lake Belle Taine. While it is much bigger now than previously, it has not lost its magical cozy feeling of a stone house in the woods on a pristine lake.
I can't imagine a better place for a family vacation. The lake itself is reason to come. Gorgeous clear water and sandy beach....the fishing for Bass, Bluegill, Sunfish, Crappie, Northern Pike, and Perch was excellent.

This is a very spacious house. Everyone had a place to hang out, many different areas. Everything we needed was provided. The kids liked the extra bedroom with 3 beds.We enjoyed the lake and especially the lily pad. Also close to grocery stores, eating places and bait stores. A beautiful area. The host was great to work with! Wish we could of stayed longer.
