About this house rental
This is not your typical rental! It’s created for family fun and up to 6-8 guests. This 1,800 sq. ft. home is located on Johnson City’s east side, just minutes from Jonesborough, ETSU, the Med-Tech corridor, Kingsport, & Bristol, baby! Comfort was our primary consideration with thoughtfully selected brand-new mattresses, some new furniture and fixtures, and a well-stocked kitchen. This house is equipped for FUN with a pool table, air hockey, ping-pong, and video arcade console.
The space
From our experience, we have gathered all the basics for a fun family stay. It’s the little stuff like convenient USB charging locations, having measuring cups, vegetable oil, or even a selection of spices that make a difference! It’s complete with a comfortable tree-covered sitting deck with a propane grill in a nice neighborhood. There is also a fire pit. Shampoo, conditioner, and many other comforts are provided. This is definitely NOT a house for parties.
Our home is very dear to us. We updated and added things we have missed in other short term rental homes we have stayed in. It is a great place for families or small groups. It has some recent paint, fresh carpet, and some really nice updates.
This home sleeps six comfortably, up to eight potentially. The first bedroom has a king bed (2 guests) with a TV. The second bedroom has a queen (2), and the third features 2 twin beds. There is a very comfortable inflatable twin mattress (1) in the closet with extra bedding. We have a Pack-N-Play unit, high chair, and lots of things for babies and toddlers.
The living room has a brand-new recliner, couch, TV, and fireplace. The family room has a couch with a 55” TV, pool table, air hockey, ping-pong, and much more family fun! Lots of board games and books are available for you to enjoy.
The kitchen has almost everything you could need to cook a meal with your family or friends. We’ve got the basics that you don’t want to buy when visiting a short-stay location.
We have free Wi-Fi and three smart TVs with many free channels, local television channels, and your subscription app-based services like Netflix, YouTube, Disney+, HBO Max, etc.

Entire house and up to four exterior parking places. Hosts are off site.
Other things to note
One well-behaved smaller dog or a cat will be considered. We reserve the right to refuse any dog based on the potential of digging or going over the fence. Our neighbors to the left have a few hens and a duck, and our neighbors to our right have a small day care with young children.

Everything was perfect!!! House was very well stocked. We stayed in December and the house was decorated with a beautiful Christmas tree. I would highly recommend and will definitely be staying again in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay with Tiffany and Don. Great hosts! And the name, "Family Retreat" is quite appropriate. While our schedule didn't allow us to enjoy everything they provided (and it is a LOT) we know when we next return we would want to explore even more. The home is very comfortable, communication was fantastic, and lots of extras were provided. Truly a great place to stay!

Very clean. Great and easy space for 6 people to cohabitate. Close to restaurants and parks. The neighborhood felt safe and friendly. Parking was spacious. Would recommend to others and would stay again!

Absolutely perfect for my husband, myself, and our adult “kids”. We all really enjoyed the game room. Would love to stay here again the next time we are in town to visit our daughter at ETSU.
