About this cabin rental

Enjoy a secluded mountain getaway in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley! On ~8 acres of private forested hills - with a stream, pond, outdoor firepits, hammocks, multi-level decks and screened in porches as well as private walking trails - the cabin and separate unit - The Nest - is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the surrounding beauty and attractions. The two spaces can also be rented separately as they share no common space (view my other listings)! 2 hours from DC, the property is nearby national parks, hiking, wineries, breweries, and Bryce Resort ~10 mins away.

Secluded with a long trail road to get to the house, so much greenery around the house with a great hillside facing the house. The elevated positioning of the house is great. Some of the shenandoah stuff was a bit of a drive so we spent most of the weekend inside the house, using the surround sound system, grilling, enjoying the large windows in the living room. We did go to a very nice winery nearby: not the best wines but great vibes and trails: Muse winery. Overall we all loved the house.

We love the house especially the balconies, the living room and the view. We had a family trip with three generations: the youngest : 17 years old and the oldest : 79 years old. Love to come back again!
