About this apartment rental
Our apartment is located in the beautiful and peaceful "Oasis Tamarindo" resort in Corralejo, on the upper floor of a two-story villa built in the traditional Canarian style.
The well-maintained garden of the resort, with its tropical plants and many palm trees, is a feast for the eyes.
You can access the apartment via a private staircase and through a small entrance gate. The vacation apartment features a conveniently located terrace that offers privacy and a stunning view of the spectacular dunes (nature reserve) stretching all the way to the sea and Lobos Island. A sunshade has been installed for protection from the sun.
The apartment is fully equipped to accommodate five people. In addition, a new walk-in shower has been installed in the bathroom. A washing machine is also available.
A highlight is the loft room, accessible via its own staircase from the living room, which can be used as an additional bedroom.
Our guests will always find available lounge chairs by the huge pool and in the shade of the palm trees. The pool is kidney-shaped and has a gently sloping bottom.
You can use the two tennis courts and a sports field within the complex free of charge.
Outside the complex, you’ll find a supermarket, an excellent pizzeria, bars, pubs, and—for emergencies—a 24-hour medical clinic, Cenmed.
A 15- to 20-minute walk will take you to the shopping street in the center of Corralejo, which features many traditional restaurants and bars. The “El Campanario” shopping center is a great place to shop and also hosts a weekly market.
At the end of the shopping street, you’ll reach the harbor.
The Centro Comercial Las Palmeras shopping center is 1.3 km away, and the Mercadona supermarket is 1.2 km away.
A worthwhile day trip on Fuerteventura:
- Corralejo: the famous, beautiful white sand dunes (approx. 1.5 km from Oasis Tamarindo)
- Corralejo: relaxing walks through the sand dunes, just 30 m away
- Corralejo: Aqua Water Park: a special highlight for children and teens is a visit to the water park with slides and a wave pool.
- Tefia: quaint farming museum with original old living quarters where traditional crafts are demonstrated
- Morro de La Fuente: the island’s highest viewpoint, featuring the history of how the island of Fuerteventura was formed
- Betancuria: charming little village with a historic church worth seeing
- Antiqua: Cactus Museum and windmill exhibition
- El Cotillo: ancient fishing port with a restaurant on the cliff
- El Cotillo: the tower on a sea cliff
- Villaverde: two windmills on the hill
Tip for a nice day trip: From the Oasis Tamarindo resort, drive to Tefia (Agricultural Museum), and from there to the Morro de La Fuente lookout point. Continue on to Betancuria to see the ancient church, and then on to La Vega de Río Palmas. There, visit the church and continue on to Antigua to see the Cactus Museum and the windmill exhibition. Afterward, visit the water features at “Los Molinos” (a simple, rustic restaurant) and finally the windmills in Villaverde.
Visit the neighboring island of Lanzarote:
- Lanzarote: take the car ferry from the port in
in 30 minutes - Lanzarote: the “La Geria” wine route, featuring the island’s characteristic vineyards in small, crater-like pits in the south, the salt flats in the west, and the volcanic craters
- Lanzarote: Round-trip bus tour to the lava mountains
- For our guests who love cycling: a bike rental shop is located right in front of the resort. The bike paths in the north are very well developed. A recommended bike tour: from Corralejo to El Cotillo via the sandy road in the north along the coast to El Cotillo and back via the El Cotillo–Lajares–Corralejo bike path
(approx. 3 hours).
For golfers: three magnificent 18-hole golf courses within 25–40 minutes’ drive:
1. 18-hole Club de Golf Salinas de Antiqua
2. Club de Golf de Fuerteventura
3. Golf Club La Playtas

Apartment is in a quiet location on the Oasis Taramindo complex. There are a few shops and bars/restaurants in the immediate area and the main street with alot more places are about a 15 minute walk away. The apartment itself has everything you need to enjoy a self catering holiday although we mainly ate out. Theres also a washing machine so all clothes can be washed and dried before coming home. The swimming pool area in the complex has seen better days but there were adequate sun loungers for free use. Shopping wise theres a small supermarket across the road but if you want to do a big shop there is a mercadona and a lidl about 10-15 mins walk away. Overall I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone thinking of staying in Corralejo, and would like to thank Andrea (the owner) who made the whole booking process from start to finish very easy and answered any questions we had very promptly. And also like to thank Morgana who was the lady we dealt with in Corralejo who greeted us at the apartment showed us around and explained everything to us. Thanks for letting us stay at your lovely apartment

Andrea the host was an excellent communicator with every detail and query answered promptly, very friendly and easy to deal with. The complex is in a great location, easy walking distance to local amenities. The swimming pool is wonderful, with plenty of space and sun loungers. The gardens are beautifully maintained. The apartment provides clean and comfortable accommodation, for a great price.

Recently enjoyed a week long stay here in January which we really enjoyed. The property was pretty much as described with all the essentials. The balcony was perfect for catching the morning sun.
The pool area is really spacious and is well kept.
We enjoyed the walk into Corralejo centre most evenings and was no more than 25 minutes or so on foot.
Overall a great stay!
