About this house rental

NOW ACCEPTING LIMITED RESERVATIONS FOR SUMMER 2025! This is our personal home that we offer ONLY during the Summer months, so live it up like a local at our Coastal Haven! We will personally greet you and do everything we can to make your stay memorable. We just completed an upscale kitchen renovation, all new professional appliances, stunning Blue Bahia jumbo island, and design updates throughout the home including bedroom furnishings. Luxurious, open and airy Coastal Haven is located just one short block from the beach with backyard updates in Fall 2025 including a newly renovated private pool, new pool furniture, new privacy fence, and lush landscaped gardens. This well-maintained and immaculate home is like your own private resort. Since we limit to just a few rentals each year, no high traffic wear and tear (like many of the rental properties you might be considering.) An abundance of space for your crew to spread out, which works so well for our multi-generational groups. The light-filled Great Room with exposed beams and cathedral ceiling is a comfortable place to gather for entertainment around the 77” UHD Sony Smart TV, or some may opt to enjoy the evening breezes and sounds of the soft crashing ocean waves from the adjacent covered porch with table and seating arrangement for lounging.
Well-designed open floor plan is everyone’s favorite feature with plenty of “nooks” to curl up and read a book, or go to the 4th floor game loft. Four covered porches and a rooftop deck to lounge or watch the sunrise and sunset.
Meal prep is a pleasure with the open kitchen and massive island where the chef can be in the center of the activity of the group. Plenty of counter space to set up the buffet line for your Low Country Boil. Guests love the large dining table so no one is at the “kid’s table”, especially when there’s a special celebration in store. Additional seating options at the island, covered porch, or al fresco poolside as well.
Designed as a “reverse floor plan”, the living space with the soaring ceilings is above the 4 bedrooms. The Great Room has 3 sofas and a huge coffee table, a dining area, kitchen with island and bar seating, and a sitting area off to the side with a chaise lounge and desk. (New sofas and love seat Fall 2024)
Just across the hall from the powder room is the den which will be converted to the 5th bedroom for 2 additional guests. The sleeper sofa will be made up for a very comfortable king bed.
The floor below is where you will find the bedrooms, kitchenette/laundry, and entry through front porch. A very large master suite with king bed, walk-in closet, and spa bathroom with an over-sized shower and Jacuzzi tub has a private porch overlooking the pool. Two more bedrooms with king beds share a "Jack n Jill" bathroom, the one in the back also has a private porch overlooking the pool. The 4th bedroom has a queen bed with a private ensuite bath with walk-in shower. Also the kitchenette with a refrigerator/freezer, microwave, Keurig, toaster and the laundry are on this floor. There is a sitting area in the entry and a covered front porch with new seating off of the main entry foyer.
Elevator has easy access from the garage level to the next two floors (does not access the roof deck) which is available with a deposit.
Our pool is in full sun for your enjoyment all afternoon – up until 7pm in the summer! (Who likes a shaded pool?) Plenty of seating around the pool including new teak pool furniture: 4 lounge chairs and a large table that seats 10, plus an outdoor kitchen and gas grill for chillin' and grillin'!
For the convenience of those enjoying the pool, we have a bathroom in the garage accessible from the pool deck, and an enclosed outdoor shower. There is a refrigerator and a commercial ice maker in the garage for your convenience. A variety of pool floats available.
Frequently admired by passersby, our gardens are well-maintained and we hope that you enjoy our subtropical paradise!
The best part is the ideal location – just a short stroll one block to the beach access path at 30th Avenue on Palm Blvd to the gorgeous wide stretch of beach that spans the eastern side of the island. We are halfway between the Isle of Palms Connector and the marina. See dolphins play near the shore, and on moonlit walks you will encounter crabs scurrying out of your path. You may even find sea turtles nesting during the summer or their hatchlings racing toward the ocean on warm evenings. Bike for miles on the beach, or tool around the island on a golf cart – rentals for both available.
ELEVATOR is available by request with a deposit of $500 with instruction given to the adults that will be operating the elevator. (Elevator repair if not operated properly may take 48 hours so we are requesting that the use is reserved for those who need the accessibility or for transporting luggage and groceries. The deposit covers the cost of an after hours service call.)
PLEASE NOTE: This house is rented on a Saturday to Saturday basis during the summer months only, with departures no later than 10:00am to allow for our team to prepare for the next guests arriving after 4:00pm.
MUST BE AT LEAST 35 YEARS OF AGE TO RENT. No weddings or group events and no pets - strictly enforced. No parking is permitted on the street; 4 cars maximum in the driveway plus if a golf cart is rented. MAXIMUM allowable occupancy is 10 guests. Infants not included in the maximum count - cribs and high chairs can be rented by a local vendor and delivered to the house for your stay.
STRICT NO PETS POLICY
NO SMOKING and no vaping anywhere on the premises. We take pride in our home and making it available to you and your family to respectfully enjoy. We appreciate you!

I’ve stayed in various properties on IOP over the last few years and this has been my favorite place. It felt like home. Everything was clean, well organized and comfortable. I’d 100% consider staying here again in the future.

Process began smoothly, they home was very nice, a bit dated and beat up for the price point but in a fantastic area. Property manager was helpful the first day. We walked the property and she pointed out many items that were damaged cabinets, flooring, refrigerator, cooktop. Was a bit surprised be we enjoyed our stay anyway. We were told trash would be picked up twice and someone would respond and take out cans, trash was left from previous renters and no one ever responded so the cans overflowed and smelled. Worst part at the conclusion of our trip I was contacted and told I would be responsible for paying for scratches to the floor. Property manager even admitted to many of the scratches being old damage but felt like there was a few new ones and we would be responsible for repairing the entire area. Photos were provided and the areas that had damage were clearly faded and old. Lesson learned take pictures of everything prior to taking possession of the rental or foot the bill for someone else’s issues. Was a shame because we loved the area and had a great time.
