Our home is centrally located in Ames and is an easy walk to Jack Trice Stadium, Hilton Coliseum, and Reiman Gardens. Great location for football games, basketball games, and any other events at The Iowa State Center.

This home is great for Cyclone fans, parents of ISU students, visiting ISU scholars, and business people.

-Fully equipped kitchen
-Completely stocked coffee bar with Ninja Coffee maker. Coffee maker can make a single cup or full pot of coffee
-King bed sleeps 2 people. Queen bed sleeps 2 people. Could fit a 5th person on the sofa.
-Both King and Queen mattresses are memory foam
-Washer and dryer
-Dedicated workspace
-Off-street parking in the driveway

Check in was super easy with a code to the door. Kitchen and bathrooms well stocked. We cooked most nights! Very nice and walkable neighborhood. Lovely home, cozy and comfortable.

Perfect place to stay relax recover during the National Senior Games and the hot tub. After running all out in my running competitions was perfect.

Listing this property as "Luxury Smart Home" sets certain expectations that simply were not met. The house itself is a basic older home that could use some thoughtful updates, especially the exterior. While the interior was generally clean, there was visible mold in the shower caulking that should be addressed. The bathroom also lacked enough hooks for towels and toiletries, which made things a bit inconvenient. A couple of luggage racks would also have been a helpful addition.The exterior left a lot to be desired. The outdoor area clearly hadn't been prepped for guests—nothing had been wiped down, the table was dirty, leaves were scattered about, and the cushions were blown around. The front steps were in rough shape, giving a poor first impression on arrival.Some small amenities were also lacking. The coffee setup was limited to Folgers pods (luxury?), and there were no bottled waters in the fridge—small touches that can make a big difference in guest experience.Overall, the stay was okay, but the property needs some basic maintenance and a bit more care to meet the standards we've come to expect from other rentals, and certainly to meet a "luxury" standard.
