About this villa rental
Close to Barcelona City, in the mountains, in the heart of the Cava wine area of the Penedes, lies a beautiful detached private villa with incredible views, set in an amazing garden. Over a 3/4 of an acre of private garden for you to enjoy. At your disposal you have your own private tennis court, large Roman swimming pool, car park and garage, patio and large flat lawn for recreation for the family i.e. football or play.
A stay here will offer an organic retreat. Complete escapism from the modern world. Collect eggs from the resident chickens. Rest in a beautiful large garden with vineyard, children's play area, array of Spanish plants, vegetables, lemon, orange, grape, olive, cherry, almond. A cool barbecue house with bar/kitchen/dinning and lounge for entertaining, A huge pergola/terrace perfect for dinning as a large group. Smart TV, FREE fast WiFi, CDs, table tennis, badminton, darts, football. A cafe bar/diner only 2mins from the house and a nearby a local public Olympic pool. Outside catering can be hired for private garden parties i.e Paella etc.
The great thing about renting this whole house is that it has a lovely ground floor 3 bed self contained apartment. Some of your family or friends can enjoy complete privacy downstairs from the rest of the party living in the main house above. The whole house can sleep up to 19 people (7 bedrooms = 2 double bed, 9 single beds plus 1 sofa bed, 2 bunk beds, (extra bed in master bedroom) = 19pax ) This luxury estate is more like a small boutique hotel that you have the private use of to entertain your friends and family. The living areas are exceptionally well equipped as is the outdoor eating area. The BBQ House has music, kettle toaster fridge etc.
Suitability: children welcome. non smoking in house. Pets not allowed unless on request. wheelchair inaccessible.
The house will have had a maid cleaning service before your arrival. If you would like to have a further daily cleaning service this can be arranged floors swept, disposing of refuge, washing up in Kitchen etc. Booking extra cleaning hours in advance 20 euros an hour
Cooking Service: Don't fancy cooking whilst on Holiday: Like the idea of a local Catalan cook coming to the house to prepare breakfast each morning; How about a traditional Catalan dinner for your group; Caterers can come in to provide a banquet or party in the garden for a special occasion like a Wedding reception, Birthday or Garden party? We had a huge family holiday here with 18 of us and had a lovely time.
The grounds and tennis court were brilliant and we loved the small local bar next door - we went there everyday for coffees or sangrias! Toby was on hand whenever we needed anything. The paella evening was great. And we made good use of the BBQ.
The house itself feels dated and we had issues with ovens not working which was stressful when having 8 children to feed. Kitchens were missing vital things like chopping boards, sharp knives etc. Coffee machines didn't work. Some of the mosquito nets/blinds were broken. The pool filters definitely don't work well enough. Poolside furniture needs updating. Sliding door in upstairs lounge didn't lock. It could all just do with some money spent to bring it all up to scratch.
But overall we had a really lovely week there. The kids had the best time!

The villa was beautifull and looked exactly like the pictures. The host was very nice and welcoming. He even offered to drive us to the city to get groceries. The house had everything you needed. We were really excited about the outside kitchen with the barbeque. And we also loved the nice pool and the tenniscourt. I would really recommend this villa if you want to have a nice and relaxed vacation with a big group of friends or family. Its easy to get a ride to the citys close by but if you rent a car there is also fun things to do in the area.

Fantastic time in this charming villa with my extended family . Loved the pool, tennis court, bbq , and beautiful views. The host was super friendly and helpful, offered to get us groceries on our arrival, provided extra fans and parasols at short notice as it was so hot, and gave us great tips on local amenities. Would definitely recommend.

We spent one week in this beautyfull villa. There is a lot of space in and around the house so verybody can have fun.
The water of the swimmingpool was cold, but nevertheless we swam sometimes.
The little children played in the garden and we did not have to look around for them because it is verry save.
We eated almost every evening in the barbequehouse and sit near the fire.
It was a week never to forget!!!
