Welcome to Stillness at DownWood Holidays, your dreamy hut nestled within the grounds of the beautiful Downwood Vineyard. Wake to the sound of birdsong and fall asleep to the gentle breeze rustling through the trees. This bright, modern cabin offers a peaceful retreat from the everyday.
The open-plan living space is perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The kitchen is fully equipped for you to cook up a perfect Sunday roast or a simple breakfast, and comes completely stocked with:
* A selection of pots, pans, and roasting trays
* Cooking knives
* Tea, coffee, sugar, salt, and pepper
* Cooking oil
For your convenience, you will also find an iron, ironing board, and essential cleaning supplies under the sink. All you need to bring is your food and a good mood!
Guests will have exclusive access to the entire `Stillness` hut and its private outdoor area. This personal oasis includes:
* A private, exclusive hot tub
* An outdoor dining table and chairs
* A BBQ for your personal use
You are also welcome to explore the wider property, which includes quiet walks through our 40 acres of private woodland and the scenic vineyard.
We respect our guests` privacy and offer a self-check-in process for your convenience. We are available via phone or message if you need anything during your stay, but otherwise, we will leave you to enjoy your peaceful retreat.

Even though the whole Vineyard is nearly 23 acres in size we are actually surprisingly close to everything. We are easily accessible by car and local taxi companies.
Please mind the nearest bus stop is around 20 minutes walk away from the property.

* Adjoining Hut: `Stillness` is one of two identical huts that are adjoined. Please be assured that your outdoor space, including the hot tub and seating area, is completely private and is not shared with the other hut.

Stillness was a lovely property which had everything we needed while visiting family. It's set in a beautiful area and there are lots of lovely touches around the grounds, such as giant chess, woodland walks and a Forget me not garden.
The property was small but perfect for us, I didn't realise the back gate and through the garden was the only entrance, this was a little challenging to navigate with my nervous rescue dog when the daily hot tub maintenance was due to happen, but this only took 5 minutes and the owners were great at passing the message on so that the person didn't enter without checking if we were outside first!
I'm sure they would have done that anyway for privacy purposes but as a nervous dog owner, I appreciated the sensitivity.
