“Rippling Stream” is a custom true log-built cabin nestled in the Great Smoky Mountains with its own stream running through the secluded property. These 4 bedrooms, 4-bathroom cabin will sleep up to 12, with paved road all the way to the property it is considered motorcycle friendly at the rider's discretion.
“Ripping Stream” is the perfect nature lover's getaway, sitting on a secluded wooded lot with its own mountain stream to enjoy while sitting around the firepit just feet away or taking a dip in the ready to go hot tub, soak your cares away with all the peaceful sounds the mountains have to offer.
When entering through either of the 2 front doors you will be sure to enjoy the true craftsmanship this home has. With extra thick logs used throughout the home it really is a sight to see. The main floor is easily accessible with just 2 steps to reach the front decks. With a king master ensuite on the main floor with a jacuzzi tub and a walk-in shower, an extra spacious living room with seating for everyone in the family, enjoy the Gas fireplace and the huge windows overlooking the backyard. The dining room seats 10 with an additional dining table for 4. There is also a desk space for those who need to do a little work while away in their new favorite vacation home.
The kitchen is prepared with all the essentials you should need to cook any feast for your family. The kitchen also features a center island giving you the extra counter space and additional seating for 2. There is an additional full bathroom with a walk-in shower and the laundry room on this level for your convenience.
Headed to the top floor, with the open loft feeling you'll find 2 - multi arcade games, a pool table and a Twin over twin bunk bed. The top floor King Master with a flat screen tv and its own ensuite with a tub/shower combo. There are 2 additional bedrooms both featuring Queen sized beds and flat screen TVs and a shared hall bathroom also with a tub/shower combo.
The back deck and yard are really where all the fun will be had. Between 2 outdoor dining tables, the Gas grill, rocking chairs, the hot tub plus corn hole all on the deck who wouldn't enjoy it? Headed into the back yard there is a picnic table and 2 benches circling the firepit which is just steps away from the beautiful stream running through the property.

Great place away from crowds of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. A lot of space for everyone to unwind and rest up for next day out. High on the mountain in the woods with a nice flowing stream.

Our overall stay at the location was nice. My experience prior to the stay did not feel as welcoming. Immediately after reserving the house I was met with communication that I needed to sign an extremely lengthy contract which indicated very specifically if things weren't working I would not get any type of refund and I would have to deal with it. If the Wi-Fi isn't working we will not get a refund if the hot tub is not working you do not get a refund, water heater not working .. no refund. It listed every single thing that could potentially be wrong with the house. It created concerns that we would be going into a place of nothing working and we would be stuck with it. I said I didn't feel comfortable signing the contract and they said that's fine, but you get no refund for cancelling. That felt ridiculous, I didn't know this contract existed when I reserved the house. They also give you 48 hours to read and interpret this, scan your license and send it back or they can cancel (without refund) your reservation. For which I didn't appreciate because I wanted time to review this lengthy document. I completed my tasks a requested and continued to be harassed via text saying I didn't complete it And I'd be canceled. I had to send screen shots proving I did. This company did everything in their power to try to get me cancelled and take my 2300 dollars. While the house was good enough for the week the hot tub couldn't of been cleaned prior as my daughter got pseud

Beautiful cabin at the bottom of the mountain. My two boys loved playing in the creek out back. While there were other cabins in the area, the location is tucked away enough that you feel more secluded which was a huge plus for us. We also appreciated the upstairs game room and the fire pit. We communicated with the property manager about something that was broken and they responded immediately and brought us a new one. Would definitely stay here again!

The property was clean, well decorated with Christmas decoration including a large, beautiful Christmas tree. The very large gas fireplace provided plenty of heat along with an ideal back drop for family interaction and pictures. Large bedrooms and four full bathrooms along with the game room that included a pool table gave our family ample room and activities to enjoy during our stay. The fire pit helped us enjoy family time in the cool night air during our stay, along with a relaxing hot tub too. The property is secluded but located less than 10 miles from downtown Gatlinburg and less than 5 miles from the number one rated zipline in Tennessee. We are happy the property had a washer/dryer to help us manage the many outdoor activities with small children during our stay.
The property location did not provide mountain views and due to the location near a lower point in a valley the Wifi and TV reception was challenging at times. We did not spend much time watching TV or on Wifi, we spent most of our time enjoying Gatlinburg and outdoor activities.
We did provide feedback to the local property management to make them aware of some lighting issues (light bulbs that were out) so they could be address before the next guess arrived. We came prepared with outdoor chairs but the addition of chairs around the fit pit with area with enhance the fire pit area.
