The area is surrounded by state game lands and water conservation areas, providing a contrasting experience that is peaceful and calming. The lake's tranquil waters are encircled by trees and generational private residences.
Indulge in swimming, canoeing, and kayaking along the four-mile shoreline. The lake's varying depths and underwater structures make it a paradise for anglers, offering opportunities to catch smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, pickerel, perch, catfish, crappie, bluegills, and sunfish.
Guests have access to the entire home and property except for:

Life jackets provided (all sizes adult, youth, toddler, baby). Fishing poles included. (Licensing and bait can be acquired in town.) Seasonal Boats- Typically May-end of October
• Spacious Deck: Lounge on the Modani outdoor couch. Dine al fresco dining for 8 the deck. Start your mornings with coffee ☕ and a lake view on the deck. I can’t begin to tell you how wonderful trip we had! The house was beautiful and the view was something that you just need to see in person. Pictures do not do it justice. My kids loved the kayaks and paddle board. They fished whenever they wanted and I’m pretty sure my two dogs are depressed that we’re not there anymore.! Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

We're a family (two kids and a dog) that love nature and fresh water. This vacation spot was a home run! The property is beautiful. Plenty of space to park (including my boat trailer), a bit of wooded privacy on both sides, the lake is very close to the house, the firepit and included wood was nice, and the house itself was awesome! The best was the very clean and well kept hot tub on the patio overlooking the lake. What a nice experience to watch the sun set while relaxing in the hot tub!The house was clean and had much of what you needed. Nicely stocked kitchen, water and ice in fridge, comfy beds in spacious rooms, fans and AC, washer and dryer, several smart TVs, great lighting, a pool table, fireplaces (which we didn't use), an awesome deck with a propane grill and a smoker (which we didn't use), a patio area below the deck with tables and chairs (and the hot tub), and PLENTY of space everywhere to spread out. If we needed anything, host was extremely friendly, helpful and communicative.The dock is wonderful! My kids and dog had a great time playing and swimming from it. There were several watercraft to enjoy... kayaks, a canoe, paddle board, etc. I kept my fishing boat tied up at the dock for the week as well.I was able to use a more private boat launch as owner allows a key to the launch and a map showing the many hazardous areas of Lake Henry. We love to fish and the fishing was excellent!Overall, an absolutely wonderful experience! We'll be back!
