Casa Palmera Canaria, a mansion with a large pool

We recently purchased this casa in early March 2023, and it has now been refurnished and repainted inside. The garden and patio are also being better maintained. As a result, the photos have been updated. The “rainbow colors” have been replaced with lighter shades.
The large Canary Island date palm in front of the house is where the casa gets its name. The casa is part of a historic finca that includes another house, with which it shares the large pool. It features spacious rooms, plenty of comfort, a large balcony, and a private patio, offering plenty of peace and privacy to enjoy the fantastic view of the sea and mountains. The surrounding area is rural, with several beautiful old houses. Nevertheless, a supermarket, gas station, doctors, therapists, banks, restaurants, cafes, and bars are all within easy reach—some even within walking distance. Hiking trails and the beautiful island capital, San Cruz, are less than 30 minutes away by rental car. For cooler winter days, there is gas central heating (subject to a fee based on gas consumption), underfloor heating in the bathroom, and a sauna. The living spaces are very spacious and furnished in a classic yet modern style. You’ll want for nothing in terms of comfort.
Note for those with animal allergies or phobias: Since the house is located in a rural setting, the neighbors’ cats may occasionally patrol the garden and, if doors and windows are open, may come inside to “check things out.” Birds and moths have also done this in the past.
