I have tried to submit a negative review 3 times ,but, apparently VRBO won’t let you describe why your experience was negative. When I was a kid my Mom used to say, “If you can’t say something nice don’t say anything at all.” So I guess I’ll say nothing at all.

The house was clean, spacious, and comfortable. We enjoyed meals at the large dining table and slept well in all the bedrooms. The neighborhood is safe and check in was easy. Highly recommend!

A nice property that accommodated our family well for Notre Dame graduation weekend. The house was clean, had spacious dining and kitchen area, nice refrigerator, coffeemaker with coffee, plenty of towels. It's an older house so we weren't surprised that the AC struggled, but after the first night the weather was cooler so the heat was not a significant problem. We did bring some folding chairs to provide more living room seating as recommended by other guests.

Great communication from the owner. Solid. Great accommodation, as well. You have to know Michiana. It's not for everyone. I recommend it to everyone and anyone who knows the Michiana area. If you're new to the area, then maybe it's not for you. For our family, it was perfect. We went to Notre Dame, Warren Dunes, Three Rivers, Marcellus & Goshen. It was perfect. I'm also an ND grad & would definitely come back with my alum friends & family. IMPORTANT - the river walk downtown area is footsteps away.

House had lots of room and was very clean. FYI, most of the bedrooms were upstairs and lots of stairs to climb. Allowing pets was a plus, as we had our pup with us. Only real complaint was the owner not disclosing the exact address until two days before our trip.

This property was huge, it had more than enough space. It was very clean and near local restaurants. Less than a mile from a town square that featured local eateries, bars, breweries, beautiful river views, mintues from Notre Dame and grocery stores l. I would stay here every time I'm in south bend and recommend it to others, 10 out of 10!

The was perfect for our family. The location was approximately halfway for Chicago and NW Ohio families. The house was as advertised with plenty of beds for all. This may be our future gathering place.

We had a Baby Shower planned here close to my daughter in laws family & this home was absolutely perfect. It had the perfect amount of space to take my mother, my daughter, and my grandson to stay with us while celebrating a baby shower. The only addition I would put in the home is a high chair and maybe a fold up pack and play but it was wonderful! Will stay again for sure. Check in & host were great.

My family of 15 people with their dogs had a wonderful time staying here. The home was clean and beautiful and there was plenty of beds for all of us. There were a few games and a kid's corner with books, both were enjoyed thoroughly. Having a fenced in yard was a definite plus. The only thing I would change was to bring our camping chairs. There was a large L-shaped couch in the living room and a lot of open space where we pulled in chairs from the kitchen but it wouldve been nice to have pur own seats.The host was great to work with and quick to return all VRBO messages.

This property is easy to find, very clean, great contact with the owner, and very close to our family. Important note, the stairway going to the second floor is steep and can be slippery. Hold on to the rail to prevent falling.

My immediate and extended family, along with some close family friends enjoyed our time in the home. We all met up there to attend my niece’s wedding. Such a wonderful reunion. The layout and floor plan were perfect! It was just what we needed. There were a few hiccups that popped up, but not until the very end of our stay. I messaged Brian, the manager and he said they were being taken care of. The location couldn’t have been more perfect. Five minutes from the wedding ceremony, five minutes away from the reception site, and about 20 minutes from my sister and brother in law. We would definitely stay again if traveling with another large group. My only critique would be that the home needs more seating in the living room. The one sofa quickly filled up, especially if friends and other family members dropped by for a visit while we were there. To compensate, we blew up an air mattress and some people sat or laid down on it to relax. We also brought chairs in from the kitchen. The day after the wedding my husband, also the photographer, ran a slideshow on the tv downstairs and gave us a preview of some of the photos from the wedding. We gathered in the living room and several of us ended up sitting on the floor. It was still fun all being together though.

Our family stayed here while in town for my daughter’s athletic tournament. We had more room than need and loved the dining area, all the tvs, plenty of space and the location. Make sure to visit Central Park and walk the Riverwalk. The host had excellent communication and we’re hoping to have more tournaments there so we can visit again. Thx

This spacious home was perfect for group of children, adults and grandparents. Hosts were excellent with quick responses to our questions and helped us feel welcome in the home. It had everything we needed for towels, bedding, large table for eating and a well equipped kitchen. We’d highly recommend!

The home itself is in good order and clean. There are however several issues that need attention. 1. There really isn't "free onsite parking" the parking is on the street and you get what you get. 2. The home upstairs is not livable in the summertime. It does not get cool. We were there during cooler days and it was hot upstairs. This means the only viable bedroom to sleep in is the one downstairs, with 2 full size beds in it. He does have 3 fans upstairs, 1 box and 2 stand fans, and even with those, it was very hot at an 84 degree day. 3. There were a few other issues that were communicated to the host and I'm sure that those will be taken care of. The host was great on communication, and very pleasant.

This place was way ‘more house’ than we needed, but so close to parks, the riverwalk, affordable, and walkable to the wedding we were in town for….we couldn’t pass it up! Big old house that had everything we needed for a comfy stay with our dogs. The neighborhood was surprisingly quiet and we felt safe and at home.

It is fairly bare bones, it’s not catering to luxury but more being clean and functional. As long as you’re prepared for that and not hoping for luxury bedding or amenities, I think you will be very pleased with the service and the overall space.

I decided to book this house for a bachelorette party this weekend, and when I say this house was the perfect spot for it it WAS ABSOLUTELY the perfect spot! From the kitchen, to the living room to the bedrooms was very spacious. The house was spotless and smelled very clean with we checked in. It Definitely served my purpose! I would definitely recommend this house to anyone.

The house was just as described. There was plenty of room and everything we needed was there. There must have not been enough time for the house cleaners to finish up because the dryer was still running and there was still items in the washer. I finished everything up cause I wouldn’t want to leave wet items in the washer for a couple of days. Other than that, all was fine.
