Great location with beautiful sea views from this penthouse apartment, not only from the balcony but also from the living room right the way through to one of the double bedrooms. Falling asleep listening to the waves and hearing them again first thing in the morning was bliss! It’s very well located opposite Cape fruit and only a short walk from Santa Maria square and one side of the main strip with lots of shops, cafes and restaurants nearby. The apartment was nice and clean with everything you might need. We appreciated the coffee, sugar and cooking oil offered as part of the welcome to help get us started for breakfast. The organisation of the host was great with reminders in the run up to our stay and even a guide to the apartment, area, activities, tours and booking a taxi. Celeste was fantastic, even popping by the same morning to help rescue a ball my son accidentally lost over the balcony. We also valued the flexibility allowing us to pay the rest of the accommodation in person on arrival, partly in cash and the rest via PayPal.
Only a few small suggestions to make things even more comfortable - the pillows in the second double bedroom were quite big and not as soft as could be given the price paid and the best nights rest you might be looking for after a long flight here. There wasn’t anywhere to really place the top pillows which were too high to sleep on both. Bed linen could be better and the toilet seat in the en-suite for the second bedroom was particularly strange as it was very narrow and small, not comfortable. It’s also quite hard to keep the balcony furniture as clean as possible, dust/sand-free given the sea breeze and the windier days brought a heavy amount of dust onto the sun lounger and outdoor sofa. If we knew where to get more of the same coffee provided on arrival that would’ve been great as we didn’t find a good one in the closest supermarket nearby. A small bottle of washing up liquid would have been helpful in the welcome pack too. It might also be good to suggest where to get a good value local SIM with unlimited data but these are all extras which for us would’ve been great to address so we’d have had an even better stay.

Die Unterkunft besticht durch ihre ausgezeichnete Lage – sie befindet sich nur wenige Gehminuten vom Strand entfernt und ist daher ein perfekter Ausgangspunkt für Kitesurfer und alle, die das Meer lieben. In unmittelbarer Umgebung finden Sie verschiedene Supermärkte und Restaurants, sodass für Verpflegung jederzeit gesorgt ist. Der Blick aus dem Apartment eröffnet einen weiten Ausblick auf das Meer.
Das Apartment selbst ist sehr sauber, gepflegt und modern eingerichtet. Es verfügt über eine voll ausgestattete Küche mit allem, was man zum Kochen benötigen – von Töpfen und Pfannen bis hin zu Besteck und Geschirr. Auf dem Balkon sind zwei bequeme Liegen. Insgesamt bietet die Unterkunft alles, was man für einen erholsamen und unabhängigen Aufenthalt am Meer braucht.

Great location and the patio is exceptional with direct access to the beach. Good shade available if you choose. With sun loungers we would have scored the maximum.
All staff were friendly and helpful.
A safe environment to truly relax over 2 weeks. Ideal for water sports enthusiasts. Not our thing but much available.
Not been to Cape Verde before but the weather is as reliable as the forecast and as a Winter getaway from UK ideal.

L'emplacement est top si vous voulez être proche de la rue piétonne mais en ayant aussi le calme nécessaire pour vous reposer sans avoir le bruit du soir ( tout est accessible à pied). La vue sur la mer est tout simplement magnifique ! L'appartement est sécurisé, propre et bien équipé. Un merci tout particulier à Djamila et Céleste qui ont été disponibles, sympathiques et bienveillantes. Encore merci pour ce séjour :)
