Quiet but close to the lively centre. The bedroom is good and new. The landlord is helpful with any concern.

The kitchen and rooms downstairs are not quite what I expected from the pictures and descriptions. The rooms are a little cold and seem wet in April and have a dump smell.

Excellent location, extremely clean, and when we reached out to the property they responded quickly. They provided a “closet” next door to hold our luggage as our flight didn’t depart until 6pm the day of check-out. This was extremely helpful. They are very kind and much appreciated. Kindness goes a long way during travels.

Location is great if you are only in for a day or two and don’t need all of the amenities that are mentioned. The kitchen looks great, provides almost everything, but one basic essential to make all function properly. We went out and bought groceries to cook breakfast, made breakfast, and sat down to eat. There was zero cutlery. There were no forks, spoons, or knives. Can’t butter bread, spoon out yogurt, or eat eggs without silverware. A kitchen is useless without basic utensils (see photos). It’s as though everything else was a prop. Secondly, WiFi is also also useless. I took photos daily to show that the internet does not pop up day-after-day on the top floor. If you want to enjoy your morning coffee at the kitchen table to enjoy sunlight and relaxation and scroll through your phone and look for tours and activities in Malta, you have to go downstairs and sit in the musty, dark cellar. You have to drain the dehumidifier constantly. Yes, it’s charming, but it is nice to have the option to go down there, not be forced down there just for WiFi. The television does not work in either location, and again, because WiFi does not work on the main floor, you cannot get any television apps to work on the upstairs television whatsoever. We tried setting the router several times on the first day. The property was responsive and asked us to do that as well. We tried. They came by around 11:30 the first day and said they had never had the issue and did the same. They said they call the service company and could see no issues, but given that Malta in general has slow service throughout the country, the router in the lower level should be moved upstairs and/or another router should be in the upper level. Again, if you are in and out for a day or two, it may not bother you, but we were here for five days and waited to book all of our tours for when we arrived. This made it quite difficult to do given we had no WiFi available and that it was hit or miss at the very least.
