St Giles

Beautifully presented and a country chic style decor and furniture were lovely. Location is brilliant we’ve been staying in this village for 30+ years and will definitely rebook this property for our visit next year. We took our two dogs and there was plenty of space for them. The bedrooms were all spacious with plenty of storage for your clothes and the two bathrooms were clean well designed. We had 4 adults, 1 child and two dogs and the space worked really well.

There isn’t anywhere to dry wet walking clothes/boots apart from bathroom. Not exactly an issue just would’ve been handy

Nice cottage, with all that is needed, tastefully furnished, spacious. Perfect location to discover the Lake District.

I would advise to change pots and pans, that are really worn out. Substituting the present anti-stick coated pots and pans (totally scratched) with simple uncoated stainless steel pot and pans would greatly add to the comfort and better fit the high level of equipment present in the cottage.

Location centre of walking trails with Ambleside path on your doorstep along with Pub and excellent cafe

Even better if there was a secure area to let the dogs out

Lovely: warm, comfortable and beautifully furnished. Really well equipped.

The bedside lamp in the upstairs master bedroom has a dodgy connection- it would flicker on and off.
