Short stay with my daughter enjoyed it apart from no garden for dogs

It was clean and cosy, well stocked good location for Woolacombe beach and village

No garden for dogs ( but that was us that misunderstood) did feel a bit hemmed in

Our stay

It was quiet and near our friend who we were visiting. Parking was easy. The lodge had everything required, TV, fully equipped kitchen etc but generally felt tired.

There was a bottle of off curdled milk left by the microwave when we arrived. No explanation about the heating as it was quite chilly and felt damp when we arrived. Curtains and net curtains have got holes in them. Toilet seat was not secure. The bathroom mirror only had half the lights working.

Defo worth a visit

Lovely place, comfortable, good for family and pets. Responsive host when we had a shower and door issue. Very close to the beach. Lots of places to eat. Watermouth castle is good for kids. Combe Martin and woolacoombe beach and putburough beaches were lovely.

The accommodation is behind a pub that being refurbished but it’s a mess, some run down cars and caravan on site but otherwise lovely

Only a 5 minute drive into Woolacombe and ideally placed as a base for exploring the surround area.

Lovely apartment with everything provided which helped us to relax and enjoy our stay. Patio area had decent views and we sat out daily.

Having bits and pieces in the cupboard like tea bags, cleaning stuff, blankets for sofas for dogs etc. All well thought through and it was nicely furnished - lovely to walk into.

No garden which we weren’t expecting, but perhaps was explained in the small print.

Fantastic place to stay

What an amazing find. We just stayed for 1 night and it was so much cheaper than Premier Inn which we would have stayed in. Very well equipped kitchen with lots of extra crockery and utensils, not just 4 of everything. Comfy beds and space for storage. Heating and fans. Could easily have stayed for longer.

Ideal location, and was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable it was! Lovely touch’s such as milk and biscuits was appreciated! We took our granddaughter and she loved it! We’re going to book again nxt year

Very well equipped kitchen with washing machine. Towels and bedding. Owner provided some lovely biscuits on arrival. We brought our own essentials but there was even a pint of milk in the fridge which was a nice touch. Thanks you 😊

The bed was very hard but then that's just probably me as not used to it.
