Hilla room

La estancia está algo alejada del centro, pero llegamos caminando sin problema. Las vistas que hay desde el piso son preciosas, por lo menos en invierno que ves todo nevado. Creo que pasaban a limpiar todos los días, cosa que se agradece cuando el baño y la cocina son compartidos. La atención que recibimos por parte de la propietaria fue fantástica, le podía escribir con cualquier duda a través de booking y respondía al momento. Muy atenta para el momento de nuestra entrada y salida a la estancia, así como para solucionarnos nuestras dudas con el parking.

Me encanto la vista de mi ventana, todo limpio, los baños impecables y la cocina muy completa, excelente la calefacción. Gracias por el secador.

Es una aclaración con el parking hay plazas limitadas gratis, porque las otras aunque no digan no lo marquen son privadas y se puede prestar para malos entendidos.

Uno dei pochi fattibili a Rovaniemi nonostante sia un Appartamento condiviso fuori dal centro (10 min di taxi a 15€). Proprietaria disponibile anche se solo tramite Booking. Cabina grande per armadio e valige

cucina e due bagni comuni ma non c’è una zona soggiorno, prezzo moderato rispetto alla norma ma molto essenziale: in camera non avevamo comodini, appendini, lucette (solo quella principale molto forte), solo un asciugamano per tutto, in cucina nemmeno uno straccio per asciugarci dopo aver lavato o tovaglioli.. insomma non molto confortevole. Dipende molto anche dalle persone che condividono l’appartamento: alle 23 dell’ultima sera sono arrivate delle persone che hanno fatto un sacco rumore mentre noi cercavamo di dormire perché dovevamo partire presto!

+clean (room in a clean) apartment in a quiet area; especially in winter, you’ll have a distinct feeling of “village” +the apartment has 2 baths (one of them with shower) and a big kitchen +supermarket and pharmacy (the latter closed on weekends) in the vicinity +there is a bus station in close vicinity, and the roads are being cleaned even in winter (not “to the tarmac”, but usable for car and pedestrian traffic) +despite being outside the city (and, depending on the road you take to get there, in an area mixt with houses), you feel safe even at night and in winter, as there is street lightning and the boulevards are very wide

-This is actually a room in a 3 room apartment. I cannot complain, since I was the only “customer”, so I had the apartment for myself, but I have this feeling that in a “busy day”, this would have meant I paid more for a AirBnb.com and less for a Booking.com, if you get my point. -The room had the thinnest double bed I have ever slept in, fit for two romantically involved partners, but too small for two “anything else” who want to sleep in a double bed -Is located, actually, in a sort of next-village-turned-suburb of Rovaniemi. As stated, it is good if you have a car/are ready to pay for transportation (I’ve seen taxis, but I did not see buses, despite having a station right across the street), but if you are fond of walking, especially in winter, you are going to *feel* those 2.8 km to the train station or the 3 kilometers to the center, even more when going back to the room, as it is an uphill road. -if you think, like me, that staying on the outskirts of the city will allow you a better view of the aurora, think again; there is enough street lightning to have a detrimental effect on that, and the best view of the aurora is actually on/around the lake, 3 km downhill from the apartment
