Nobody there, paid for weekend limited French, all closed up arrived Sunday looked as if it had be closed a while ie tired rundown a not was in the restaurant window however only in French lady who open cafe on Monday morning was super efficient however still nobody at reception we could have stayed at beach front hotel for just the same price with a normal fully functional Hotel

Food was very good. Location central.

No advice about location of parking prior to arrival. Nearby but well hidden. Very basic room. Stairs and entrance area dark and gloomy. Need redecoration.

Breakfast was good Receptionist was nice.

Cleanliness. Entire hotel is dirty and very worn. In desperate need of a makeover. Dark corridors are depressing. Towels were the size of postage stamps.

Good location for old part of town

For the price paid. Rooms felt a bit dirty, smelly and dated. Did not live up to expectations or photos. Very hot room could possibly consider a fan. No specific parking for hotel but directed to free car park short distance away. Whilst not the fault of hotel there appeared to be an all night party going on close by which affected ability to sleep.

There wasn't much in the way of sound-proofing in the room, and there was no fan or air conditioning. There also often wasn't anybody at the front desk.

Do not go here!!! The staff is rude, unfriendly, doesn't speak English and refuses to do so. The room is acceptable that we had (Nr 3) for a 2* Hotel. The reason for the 1 star im giving is that we accidentally, not knowingly, parked the car at a spot where a market was held the next day. The police came into the hotel in the morning and asked whether it belonged to any German customers they had. To which the hotel reception replied No. The police asked to inform the German guests in the Hotel and left. But they never did. So our car was tolled and taken away. The police municipale said, and I quote here 'the Hotel has a reputation for being rude, unfriendly and not customer oriented.' We confronted the Hotel Staff as to why they didn't alert us in the morning and they said they didn't care. I'm baffled. If I could rate this minus 10 stars I would. A hotel is not simply a place to sleep but it also is made of the people that run it. I'd like to exclude from this the nice man possibly the cook who gave us towels. Because you must know another thing they don't clean your rooms no more. You have to go to the reception and ask for it. Otherwise they don't clean them. Which we also didn't know and had an unclean room for 3 days. But the guy then gave us new towels and emptied the trash. For that I'm grateful. He wa showever the only nice person. Horrible horrible people I must say.
