Lovely scenery, excellent hot tub and bed comfort. The cabin had everything you need.
The road leading to the cabins is not suitable for small vehicles. It ended with a slow puncture in one of our tyres. Besides this it was an excellent stay which I would recommend.

The location was superb. Peace and quiet, away from it all. Woodpeckers joined an amazing dawn chorus, with lambs and ewes bleating in the background.
The hot tub was lovely and hot and clean.
Perfect for a peaceful get away for two, or one with dogs in my case.
It would have been great to have a small table and chairs which were missing. Both to sit in the cabin and to sit out on the decking. I realise there was a picnic table, but it would be nice to sit on the decking and inside too, especially at night.
For me, with two dogs, it would have been amazing to have the fence around the cabin enclosed, with a gate, so that I could at least have them safely loose in the small space around the cabin. I have also farmed all my life and always have them on leads when walking, but would have appreciated being able to give them just a little freedom whilst relaxing at the cabin.

I liked the layout of the property and how it looked into the trees.
We had a lot of problems with the electrics. Meaning we couldn’t eat the food we planned to make at the property or have showers. This also meant it was cold at night as we relied on the heater. As it no longer has a log burner. I think the booking should maybe give a heads up about power not being great as we could’ve packed a camping gas stove.
