Cosy apt with city view near Exhibition Centre

Location The location is very good. Its walking distance to Cultural centre (big bus stop), woolworth, and attractions such as Queensland museum. Basically 9/10 location. the downside is there is quite a number of homeless lingering around. Going out from the back of the apartment through fleet street can avoid them Value This apartment is cheap compared to surrounding areas. You get what you paid basically. Facilities All sinks, shower stuff, kitchen equipment are all working fine. There is a small drying rack available which can hold 2 people’s 2 day laundry. Keep in mind there is 2 bedrooms, only one of the rooms is air conditioned. The living room is also air conditioned. I stayed during sept- october, and the weather was cool, thus we were fine when the second bed room did not have air conditioning. Cockroaches I stayed there for 4 weeks and you can expect to see cockroaches every 2 days. Thank god they are baby size and does not fly. I havent seen any adult size. The strange thing is the apartment is very very clean and well maintained. I am not sure where the cockroaches came from. Wifi Wifi is quite slow and pain to connect. It is a public unsecured network where you have to sign in to the wifi via websites. However the owner was very fast to reply and solve any wifi issue we had! Homeless lingering around as mentioned above. Bedrooms There is a semi transparent glass-wall separating the 2 bedrooms, although the is a curtain covering it, the sound proof is not good, and the lights from other room comes through.

We were staying in South Brisbane so my son could attend the Griffith Conservatorium of Music for a Student Honours Ensemble Program. The apartment, considering it was school holidays, was very affordable and only a ten minute walk to our destination.

The 'locals' that frequent the Hope Street area around the apartments were a bit off-putting, but we found that leaving the property through the rear of the building onto Fleet Lane, was better.

本来对布里斯班这座城市很有好感，但这次住宿让我觉得很失望。房间打理比较差，一进门就是一大堆脏毛巾堆在台子上，说是保洁服务员忘记拿走了。屋子没太认真打扫，炊具餐具清洗不彻底，都油乎乎的，所有物件要用之前，都需要自己重新清洗、打扫一遍。卧室里一个台灯灯泡是坏的，灯上布满灰尘。阳台上的休闲桌椅也很脏，需要自己重新擦。洗手间台上放着空的洗手液瓶子，没装洗手液。入住发现没有面巾纸，向服务员问，说只能用手纸，没有面巾纸供应。屋子里的空调是坏的，只能用风扇吹。赶上住的那几天布里斯班很热，住在房子里相当闷。这个房子面向一座公路桥，一开窗就非常吵，昼夜噪声都很大，让人心烦。看地图觉得它离火车站、汽车站、超市、餐厅和南岸景点都不远，真的走起来还是有点儿距离，到哪里都有大几百米甚至近一公里的距离，算不上方便。不会再来了。
