Great location, beautiful and clean room. The complimentary yoga class was great. Comfortable bed.
The shower was not convenient, couldn't help but spray water absolutely everywhere in the bathroom.
The staff was a bit awkward, not very friendly.

The location is excellent and very convenient. The room itself was clean and the partial ocean view was beautiful, definitely a highlight of our stay. After the first day, the staff we interacted with were friendly, helpful, and much more informative then the check in staff. Once we spoke with other employees besides her, we learned that the chair and towel rentals were a great perk and very easy to use. Overall the hotel had some nice amenities and the cleanliness of the room was appreciated.
The biggest downside was the check in experience. The woman who checked us in was so unfriendly and unhelpful! She provided almost no information about the hotel, amenities, or what was included with the resort fee. When we asked questions, her answers were extremely vague and short. For example, I saw a sign out sheets for bikes, towels, and chairs and asked how it worked, her response was simply “You do that her” which didn’t explain whether it cost extra or how long rentals were for, etc.. She also handed us our room keys without giving any directions to the elevator, stairs, or general layout, which made for a confusing and unwelcoming first impression.
Parking was another frustration. I must’ve missed the parking fee when booking, but at check in she simply asked, “Do you need a pass?” without explaining. I had to ask a pass for what, and then ask whether it cost extra, and her only response was “$25” without mentioning that it was $25 per night. We were staying multiple nights and a little more detail upfront would have gone a long way rather than such short vague answers.
The air-conditioning unit in the room also seemed faulty. It was extremely loud, like a freight train! And didn’t regulate temperature properly, even when we turned it up, the room stayed freezing and we eventually had to unplug it. Balcony privacy was limited as well, since there was no divider on one side and neighboring balconies were very close.
There is a mini fridge in the room, but it’s stocked with their in house “macro bar” items for purchase, leaving no room for personal use. Personally, we would have preferred an empty fridge. Overall it felt like an old hotel had a quick flip renovation, new paint job and a pushed trendy, influencer style vibe, which just wasn’t our jam.

We liked the hotel but thought for the price we would stay ocean view next time. We were on the Kamaaina discount but stell had to pay for parking fees

Good location and large room and good bay
The sit condition unit extremely noisy, had to turn it off. Even then hearing the next door aircon unit so slept with earplugs.
Also US$100 was taken from my cc card for security without any warning. When questioned staff said that I will get it back in a few weeks time, extremely rude practice!

the parking stalls are super skinny

Pacific 19 is in a great location close to shops, restaurants and bars, and the beach. Rooms are comfortable and all the staff very helpful and friendly. It has a lovely pool area and a great laundry for guests.
Being a light sleeper I did find the room to be a bit noisy at night as it was on Palani Road! But then that is a perfect location for anyone watching or participating in Ironman World Championships as it is right beside the course.

It’s clean. Location wise it’s so convenient. I liked the room it’s so comfy and big. The restroom is the best. Over all I loved it.
Just the parking space is too small for regular car.

Good location, and reception area had free coffee in the morning. And the price was half that of everywhere else : bed was new and comfortable, bathroom was clean and better than expected, bathroom was recently renovated. The staff at front counter were very helpful and kind.
The room was reminiscent of a highway motel, old feel and the aircon noisy, not much privacy next to the pool so had to leave windows shut BUT it was seriously on a half price special so it was possibly slightly better than we expected. It was seriously the best deal in Kona .

It met my expectations.
Rooms a little musty. Not terrible.

Rooms were a bit musty. Not terrible. that would be my only smaller complaint.

Location in Kona. Can walk to restaurants and shops
Parking. Limited parking at hotel with overflow across the street. I understand why it’s limited given location and the small size of Kona town. It’s not a real big deal just not optimal

Very polite and helpful staff. Good location, close to many restaurants and shops. Nice pool. Complimentary coffee in the lobby every morning, nice water refiller in the lobby. They provided us with beach equipment such as beach chairs, umbrella, beach towels. We had a late flight on our check out day, they let us keep our suitcases in the luggage storage room and let us hang out in the lobby.
Expensive parking fees. The faucet in the bathroom was too short and caused water running around the sink instead of going into the sink.

Large bottles of alcohol on the dresser for purchase.

The small details in the rooms. All the customized items.

Staff were great, lobby was very nice and the pool deck was nice too. Lots of chairs available. Great location near town (restaurants, shops, waterfront, etc.)
The rooms were really dated and the workmanship in what updates had been made was really poor. Doesn't mean it wasn't functional or comfortable, just felt like it could have been done better and that degraded the value of the price paid some.

They could offer a continental breakfast. It isn’t that expensive for the hotel and improve so much the quality of the stay.

The location is great
Super tiny pool, and even tinier room. Expensive parking. Not good value for money in my opinion

We didn't have breakfast. But the coffee was excellent and the coffee cart was also wonderful
Only thing was that there were no towel racks in the bathroom

Location
Customer Service at the front desk just seemed like everything Was inconvenient when usually they ask for a card for incidentals she did not then continued to speak loudly saying my payment did not work which was quite embarrassing, mind you that’s the second time that’s happened. No resolution came to for my issue either other than wait

Do not stay here.
The air conditioner makes loud noises all night and the staff are extremely rude — especially the two young women at the front desk.
It honestly feels like people who should never be in the hospitality business are running this place. They even keep sending spam emails to push sales during your stay.
I travel often, and this is without question the worst hotel I’ve ever experienced worldwide.

I slept very very well. The hotel has a wonderful area next to a coffee shop where you can work. Was easy to get to the starting area of the Iron Man. Everything can be done from there.

Kids loved the pool!
The hotel overall had a very welcoming, and laid back vibe. We will definitely be back again.

We had a great time, everything was in walking distance, loved that the beach was so close and plenty of places to eat out, we will be back 👍
I liked everything
10.0 / 10.0
We enjoyed everything about the property. We enjoyed how close we were to everything. We were within walking distance to restaurants, shops, and tour pick up locations.
The only thing we did not like is that the shutter windows located under the AC are not tinted and the sunlight hits your face and there’s no way to cover them up if you have the AC running because then your room gets hot. Once the sun was out, we had to switch out head towards the foot of the bed in order to get a little more sleep without all the light in your face.

NOTHING
AC noise and very old in the room. About my question from booking messages, they never answer but in the reception all service people are looking the personal mobile (tik tok and socials). They don't have laundry but only self service washer machine. I asked for pospone the checkin after one day and they never answer, in the check out i found the extra night charged. I asked for extra days and the apply max cost, so I found other hotel in front the sea at the same cost and much better. Royal hotel. Good luck my friends.

Good location. Swimming pool was good although we didn't use it.
Staff seemed indifferent not particularly helpful. Couldn't provide us with a map which we eventually got from a local restaurant. No coffee or tea facilities in room. Had to pay for these. Nobody offered to help with bags. View from room was not great. Lots of earth dug up and some machinery. Very noisy at night with constant bird noise. There were 3 bugs in room. Room was tired looking. The first evening as soon as we went out a group of 4 homeless men asked us for money. I could put up with this had I paid $125 a night but at $220 the price is extortionate and totally unjustified. Feel ripped off.

Pacific 19 is in a great location in Kona. A couple of minutes walk from the beach, and the main shopping/eating area. The pool was cool and refreshing on these long July days and it had pleasant surroundings. The rooms were a good size, with comfortable beds. The bathroom had a bath shower combo and some really nice shampoo and conditioner. Would recommend Pacific 19 to friends travelling through Kona as it was affordable even with the exchange rate to kiwi dollars!
When we checked int the staff did not acknowledge or greet us and this gave us a bad vibe about the place. When checking out, however, the staff were lovely and interested in us.

Location was good!
There was no daily cleaning, no bar support at the hotel whatsoever. The room had very little light. Supposedly it’s a 4-star hotel, but I’ve stayed in 2-star hotels with better conditions.

Bed was super comfy, room was adequate
The cost for late check out considering that all flights from Kona are in the evening… they gouge you for a whole extra night if you wanted to check out past 3pm.

The bed and pillows was really good the internet worked well the tv was good and worked well and there was no zombies at the location i could walk around without fear
My room dis not get cleaned while i was there

PACIFIC 19 Kona has a beautifully designed lobby with a modern, welcoming vibe. The staff are incredibly kind, professional, and always ready to help – their friendliness really made a difference. The location is fantastic, within walking distance of great restaurants, shops, and the waterfront. It's also convenient that the hotel offers bike and towel rentals. The rooms, while not new, are very clean, spacious, and the beds are really comfortable – perfect for relaxing after a busy day.
Although the hotel offers amenities like bike and towel rentals, there is a mandatory amenities fee that must be paid upfront, even if you don’t use these extras. In my opinion, this fee should be included in the room price, as it feels like a hidden charge. Also, the rooms show some signs of age and could use a bit of updating. Another small disappointment – although the hotel mentions partner restaurants, there are no actual discounts offered there, contrary to what the information suggests.

Close to Alii Drive.
Parking situation was bad. I paid $25 a night while they let this motorcycle Club park and take up spaces for free, That night I could not get a parking after I paid.
