The Pink House, Aldeburgh

Well located for the beach and the local amenities. Spacious accommodation for a large group of 10 people. A well equipped kitchen. Comfortable bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms.

We are a party of 3 generations travelling in 3 vehicles. Parking was described on the website as “street parking” which is very misleading as parking is limited to 2 hours on the street and to find a spot nearby was almost impossible. The nearest free long term parking was a good 10 minute walk away and again difficult to find a space, hence we spent a lot of time relocating cars into short term parking spaces, which was difficult for the elderly members of our group. Please make parking conditions clear to future bookers of the property. Bottles of bleach and bleach sprays were left on low level shelves within easy reach of children in 3 of the bathrooms! ( our children’s ages had been provided on the booking form ) This is a danger!!! The oven grill did not work well. The displays on the cooker dials had worn off making it difficult to set the temperatures. The rug in the lounge was grubby and needs replacing. Not ideal for the youngest member of our group who is just starting to crawl. The sink drainer is partly rusty and needs replacing. The Shark vacuum cleaner had been left full of contents on our arrival.
