The cottage was lovely and clean, had everything we needed. The hot tub was well maintained. Got given all the information we needed, staff were so attentive and very fast with replying to anything we needed.
We woke up after the first night there to hundreds of ants in the kitchen area, I know april is a bad time for them. We messaged and they soon came and put powder down and they didnt come back after that. Quickly resolved our problem.

The dog friendly accommodation did not have a secure garden. There was an electric extension lead across the garden. Broken flower pot in garden with the pieces on the ground. 1 bath towel each for bathing and using the hot tub. The floor in kitchen area had pieces missing and was uneven/lifting. The light over bathroom sink did not work. Shower was mouldy around the screen and fixing. The shower riser was broken. The heating could not be turned on due to thermostat being fixed so no way of drying the 2 bath/hot tub towels. Email said 3 towels each. Only 2 toilet rolls for a stay Monday to Friday. The towels were not of good quality.
