Ferienhaus am Hochficht Mühlviertel in Oberösterreich

Everything was great. We were there in the winter for skiing in Hochficht area. Super close to the ski lifts. The house is well equipped with everything you might need. I strongly recommend to book sauna room as well. Totally worth the money.

Our stay in this family house exceeded our expectations. The house is very well equipped, perfectly clean, and excellently prepared even for a larger group of people, including children. We had everything we needed and truly felt like at home. One of the great advantages is the location – the ski slope is only about a 10-minute drive away, which we really appreciated during our skiing trips. After a day spent skiing or cross-country skiing, we fully enjoyed relaxing in the sauna, which was the perfect way to end an active day. The host was very kind, helpful, and welcoming. Communication was smooth, and he made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. Our whole family truly enjoyed the holiday, and we can highly recommend this accommodation to everyone!

Perfect space for two families with kids, especially if you book the sauna with the second bathroom. Very close to Hochficht ski resort where you need to be soon in the morning to catch the parking. The host was amazing – he came by daily to prepare the wood for the stove, heat up the sauna, and even stocked homemade speck and sparkling wine. The fridge was always full of beer and wine for reasonable price, which was a very nice touch. Parking behind the gate for 2 cars. The sauna is brand new with a great relaxation area, and there’s also a huge TV for evenings in.

One thing to note: the sauna comes at an additional cost, but it’s absolutely worth it. Especially when you share among 2 families.
