Apartment was in a good location, easy access to transport links and the city centre. It was reasonably spacious although it didn’t really have 2 bathrooms as one was so small it was impossible to shower in it.

The furniture and fittings were shabby, either poor quality / cheap or distressed from over use. It needed sealed double glazing to protect from street noise and draughts. Although the kitchen was a good size, the worktop was damaged and needed replacing and there were insufficient useable units to store food and crockery. Given that the apartment slept 6 adults, there was not enough unbroken crockery and glasses for 6 people. We fed this back to the property managers and they were very responsive and supplied extra glasses and mugs the same day which was great, but there was clearly no inventory maintained to ensure adequate facilities. Whilst the fridge freezer was in working order it was quite battered and had broken seals so the unit had to work hard to keep cool. The cooker had no heat settings on any of its dials so it was very difficult to cook any meals.
