About this house rental
Our charming rustic farmhouse cottage offers beautiful views of the Black River and a peaceful setting where you can slow down and enjoy the simple pleasures of life. A comfortable, welcoming atmosphere for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. With world-class fishing right behind the house on the Black River, it's a great destination for fishing enthusiasts. Conveniently located near Watertown, Fort Drum, and the village of Sackets Harbor, it is an ideal home base for exploring upstate NY. Also walking distance to a pub, a diner, an ice cream shop and two boat launches.
Notes: stairs leading to second floor are a tad steep and as an old farmhouse, ceilings tend to be lower. During the summer months, there will be weekly lawn care.
There is a $75 pet fee. If not disclosed at the time of booking, it will be an additional charge upon checkout.
Smoking is not allowed inside the home/sunroom. If the rule is violated, a $250 deep cleaning fee will be charged.
**Disclosure: we have one Ring camera mounted to the garage facing front door and one facing the driveway strictly for security purposes.

The property was clean and well stocked with many conveniences, such as coffee, shampoos and soap and paper products. The location was great close to surrounding towns. We would definitely stay here again.

We absolutely loved our stay. The views of the river from the house are wonderful and we sat outside every day enjoying the weather and view. The house is stocked with everything you need to cook. The house is so clean and lovely. Overall a very homey place and we will stay again if we are in the neighborhood. Thanks Susie and Dean.
