This house, known as the Winehill Villa, is wonderful and luxurious. We loved waking up every morning to the most amazing view of the sea out beyond the infinity pool. We spent many hours in the comfortable couches and lounge chairs by the pool and the view, and we ate many of our meals there as well. The property is on a hill and gated, and we loved being able to walk to so many great restaurants, shops, grocery stores and the beach. We rented a car and used it several days to explore other parts of the island. The property manager provided great references for activities, the rental car, airport transportation and more. It was a fabulous house and we hope to return some day!

Our recent stay at Winehill Villa was nothing short of incredible. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning views of the Cretan Sea and the breathtaking sunsets visible from the villa’s many outdoor spaces, particularly around the amazing pool area. The villa’s location in Chania was ideal for exploring Crete, as it provided easy access to beautiful destinations like the Samaria Gorge, Elafonisi, old town of Chania, and a variety of local beaches. The villa itself easily accommodated our family of seven, offering plenty of space for everyone to unwind and relax. The kitchen was exceptionally well-stocked, and our son, who is a chef, was able to prepare delicious family dinners on two occasions. On our last evening, we enjoyed a catered event in the outdoor dining area, which featured a large charcoal grill and seating for 12+ individuals. In fact, the villa boasts more than four outdoor dining areas, two of which are conveniently located by the pool, making them perfect for enjoying meals with a view. Speaking of the pool, it was a true highlight of the villa. We spent countless hours swimming and lounging by the water, all while soaking in the stunning panoramic views of the sea. The sound system added a fun touch, helping to set the perfect atmosphere, whether we were relaxing or having a family game of ping pong or splashing in the pool. We had the best time and the house and property were amazing! The community was so welcoming and the view was beyond perfect. We had great conversations with the property manager and the owner who were more than gracious and accommodating. The grill area, pool, patios were all so spacious and even better than the pictures! The Villa is also completely gated which made it a perfect getaway and felt safe the entire time. Highly Highly Recommend WineVilla for anyone with friends or families with or without kids.

When we arrived at Winehill Villa, our breaths were taken away. It is absolutely amazing. The views from the pool area are stunning , looking out over to the mountains and the beautiful sunset in the evenings is breath taking. The villa is of high quality, luxury, comfort and absolutely outstanding. The kitchen is extremely well equipped, with everything you need including a full fridge of goodies with drinks, fruit, snacks and a gift basket of treats on arrival, which was fantastic. All of the bedrooms and bathrooms are of high quality and all the rooms are fully air conditioned. The Villa is immaculately cleaned daily by Ava. She is very friendly, polite, helpful and hardworking. The outside terrace is very large, with plenty of seating and sun lounges.There is a huge BBQ area which we used and cooked some delicious Greek food. All the necessary equipment was provided, including plenty of charcoal. The infinity pool is absolutely beautiful and truly amazing as it looks out over onto the blue sea of the Mediterranean. When we arrived, we were greeted by Fabio the property manager. He showed us around the villa and offered his services to us during our stay. He was extremely helpful, gracious and a lovely man and was so accommodating. He gave us great recommendations of restaurants and places to visit. Anything you wanted or needed help with, Fabio was there to help. The owner John left some delicious cakes and breads for us one day but unfortunately we missed him but would like to say THANK YOU! Winehill villa was the perfect place for us. We were a group of 9 with the villa being so spacious, there was plenty of room. The villa is situated in a perfect, quiet location with privacy which is only a 5-10 minute walk down to Platanias to the local supermarkets, Restaurants, Bar's and Cafe's. With a beautiful sunrise and the spectacular views overlooking the sea, it makes Winehill villa the perfect place to stay for a relaxing, tranquil holiday. We had a fantastic, relaxing holiday. Winehill Villa is a beautiful place to stay and the Island of Crete is spectacular. We would highly recommend Winehill Villa to anyone who is travelling to Crete for the perfect holiday. We really didn't want to leave and we will definitely come back again!
