About this apartment rental
The thing I love most about our home is our amazing sunrises. It’ll feel like you’re 1,000,000 miles from civilization when you’re just tucked away on a semi-private lake. Enjoy fishing, swimming, boating, floating, sun bathing, or just simply relaxing. We are only 10 minutes from shopping, restaurants, golf courses, parks and hiking, and several major wedding venues. We are 20 minutes from downtown chattanooga and major city attractions including Rock City, Ruby Falls, Chattanooga Aquarium, Chattanooga Zoo, Cherokee National Forest, the Ocoee River, and much more. Our lake season is limited to six months. Mid April through mid October. You will always have amazing water views and sunrises, but water activities may be limited during the off-season.
We are pet friendly for smaller, house broken, cage trained pets, but please ask about our pet fee.
Come see why we love Chattanooga and choose to call Ooltewah our home. This is a private access, basement apartment in my home. We live upstairs. But you'll have all the privacy you want and need for a great vacation with your own private driveway, private entrance, and private hot tub, and fire pit. The pool is heated during spring and fall, and the kayak and paddle board are free to use. There is a wave runner for rent at an additional fee if you choose. The bed swing makes for great afternoon naps, and the lounge chairs are the perfect setting for a sun tan.

Room was very clean, outside swing was our absolute favorite! Highly recommend staying here. Host was very responsive, although he was home, we never were disturbed by the host or their family.

The lake view was awesome. The hot tub was very relaxing. The heated pool was warm and enjoyable - smaller than you might guess. The poolside and dockside furniture were comfy - I really enjoyed the swinging bed. Also loved watching the herons and purple martins. The small, charcoal grill wasn't cleaned out. The room is in the basement. The couch is okay. The bed is a memory foam, Purple mattress. I would never have one, they make me sweat. There was no dresser to unpack into. The dishes are stored under the sink, which seems kinda gross to me. The fridge/freezer wasn't cleaned out from the previous guest. I would highly recommend it for no more than a few nights stay. It lacks some comfort that you might find elsewhere (recliners, comfy bed). But it makes up for it with a fantastic location.

Pool was not heated , but the description said it was. A heated pool was our deciding factor to select the location so that was very disappointing. The room was smaller than most hotel rooms which was also a surprise as the pictures made it seem much larger. Sound carried very well from people upstairs so at 7:30am there was no chance of sleeping in. It wasn’t a bad stay but definitely wasn’t what we had planned for.
