The Chestnut Suite is located at The Rockwell Ridge Inn conveniently located off 151, next to Veritas Winery.
This suite boasts luxurious accommodations with a king bed and updated bathroom with a clawfoot tub, skylight, and infinity shower.
**This suite is DOG-friendly with a $75 pet fee. No cats, fines may apply.**
Take a hike on The Rockwell grounds, or hit 151.
This location gives you central access to all Nelson County has to offer.
The Chestnut Suite has a private entrance with access to a large shared deck with table and chairs, overlooking The Rockwell grounds. The suite is newly updated with finished concrete floors, a luxurious modern bathroom, and luxury linens. This spacious suite includes an ultra HD smart TV, in-room climate control, twin futon, and dining area with mini fridge, Keurig, and microwave.
Guests are free to explore the grounds - take a hike on the trail, enjoy a meal outside by the stream, take a walk down the driveway, or stroll to Veritas for a glass of wine.
Please note that Rockwell Ridge Inn makes up three separate units, so you may run into other guests while you are out and about on the grounds. Rest assured that there is plenty of space and your stay will remain very private. If you would like to hold an event, or are traveling with a large party, please view the other Rockwell Ridge Inn units on my listing page to reserve the entire Inn. Rockwell can sleep 14-16 guests comfortably

From the moment you walk in the suite makes you smile. The bathroom is amazing with a big bath tub. I really enjoyed the fire pit, reading by the creek . The whole property is amazing , peaceful and quiet which is what I was looking for . You can hike for a bit on the property as well. Veritas winery is right around the corner for more great views and delicious wine . The property is close enough to so many other wineries and breweries, the blue ridge parkway and Skyline drive. The host was lovely as well, quick to answer every question. Would Definetely go back :)

The room was OK, but not as comfortable as we expected for the price. Nice bathroom -- tiles, tub, sink -- but with no place to hang towels or put toiletries in the shower. The living space felt undercooked -- sofa (with no side table or reading light) facing a blank wall lined with a few objects as if in a thrift store, not a cozy, luxurious accommodation. The uncomfortable mattress and lumpy pillows were disappointing. We expected more.
