About this cabin rental
Wooded family retreat overlooking this clean, quiet lake offering spectacular sunsets, privacy, and comfortable accommodations. Perfect for entertaining family or small groups with 4 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths, the main level has a bedroom with queen bed, another bedroom with a trundle bed and a full bathroom. The lower level has a bedroom with queen bed, a bedroom with two twin beds, one full bathroom, and a half bath. There is a bunkhouse with additional sleeping for 6 and a full bathroom. The kitchen and great room are open with views of the lake, there is a lower level family room with a wood burning stove, large 3 season porch, and deck with grill. The kitchen is fully equipped with refrigerator with ice maker, electric stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee pot, and toaster. Separate laundry room is connected to the double garage with additional bathroom and refrigerator. Cabin has electric heat and two window air conditioners on the main level. The cabin sits on a hill with approximately 15 steps down to the beach.
Lake Mitchell is a quiet lake great for water sports and fishing. There is a public access to launch your boat and the property has 200 feet of shoreline with a large dock and platform for lounging by the sandy bottom lake. Lake Mitchell is connected to Eagle Lake, easily accessed by canoe via a creek.
This is a lovely place to vacation away from the noise and traffic but convenient to recreational attractions and restaurants. The cabin is 10 minutes from Emily and 20 minutes from Crosslake. This area has numerous shops and restaurants. Several golf courses are nearby including Golden Eagle and Emily Greens.
Enjoy the stars, campfires near the water, or watch the moon rise and hear the call of the loons.

We enjoyed our stay here and would not hesitate to come back! The property had plenty of space and enough beds for our party of 11 with a couple extra to spare. The kitchen is well stocked and had everything we needed for our meals. The dock is really nice, and the water was clear! We enjoyed our days by the lake and evenings with a fire. Barb was very responsive, and the check-in and check-out is super easy!

I hesitate to leave such a great review because I want to go back and don’t want it to be booked, lol. The host and this property were amazing. It is so well stocked and so much room for everyone enjoyed the beautiful view of the lake from the deck. They have a lovely porch area. The lake is great for fishing and clean, sandy for my dog to swim thanks for allowing dogs! love how wide and sturdy the dock was for my senior mom. Great time I will definitely be back. The place was excellent and fishing great. It is a clean beautiful lake. There was Lily pads Frisbie Golf and kayaking.

This house provides! It was our running theme all week. If we needed something the house seemed to already have it.
The dock is really nice with easy boat access.
Plenty of room for many guest to sleep.
We’ll be back!
