About this cottage rental
This one bedroom guest cottage is great for a couple looking for an island escape. The property is located on a quiet cove with open ocean views and a private beach known for its abundance of sea glass and other treasures. The bright, open-concept floor plan includes a full eat-in kitchen, living room and bedroom with an ocean and garden view, and a bathroom with a 5-foot shower and washer and dryer.
Orr's Island is located in the town of Harpswell and situated in the middle of Casco Bay. In the summer months, guests have easy access to restaurants, gift shops, kayak rentals, schooner tours and guided deep sea fishing trips. In the off-season, the island grows quiet and offers an even more intimate island experience where guests can get to know what local island life is like when the temperatures drop and the tourists retreat.
Brunswick, known for its quintessential "Maine" Street and being the home of Bowdoin College, is just 15 minutes away. There you can find vintage and antique stores, gift shops featuring Maine artisans, art galleries, a French bakery and several restaurants.
This year-round guest cottage sits on a rare one-acre piece of oceanfront property adjacent to the recently restored owner-occupied main house. The owners love Orr's Island and their little cove and look forward to sharing it with you!

We enjoyed this property thoroughly. We were very comfortable with the location and how close we were to such beautiful sights, as well as many walking/hiking trails to explore . The home had all the comforts one could ask for. Thank you Bart and Hannah

The cottage is beautiful and of very high quality and design. Almost brand-new, the owner's have tastefully decorated the interior and outside. Gorgeous flowers surrounded the porch and walkway. Very quiet with the exception of the gentle sea and birds which added to the delightfulness. The hosts are wonderful people to boot. Harpswell and the Islands are the finest places to stay in Mid-Coast Maine. I plan on returning again.

We enjoyed our stay at this new rental home on Orrs Island. The home is perfect for two people with a lovely porch with comfortable chairs and amazing water views.
The home was spotless and meticulously maintained. There are plenty of special touches like new beach chairs, towels and top-notch kitchen appliances. The kitchen is fully stocked with quality kitchen tools. Bart and Hannah were attentive and a pleasure. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home and for making our vacation perfect. We look forward to returning.
